Muri Beach

Muri Beach, Rarotonga
Perfect for families, and those seeking adventure, Muri Beach is a beautiful lagoon located on the eastern side of Rarotonga. The pristine white sandy beach is a hotspot for water sports and scenic boat tours. Muri Beach is close to many resorts on the island and is a popular place to visit.

Aroa Beach, Rarotonga
Located just in front of the Rarotonga Beach Resort & Spa, Aroa Beach showcases some amazing marine life just metres off the sandy shore. Aora is the perfect spot for snorkelling, where you can expect to see large schools of butterfly fish, sea bream and moray eels amongst the crystal-clear waters.

Tikikaveka, Rarotonga
Located on the south coast of Rarotonga, this surfing hotspot is perfect for those chasing big waves. Past the sheltering reef you will find large and powerful surf breaks that will entice many experienced surfers. Tikikaveka beach is also a great place for spotting bright tropical fish, so don't forget to pack your snorkel!

Nikao Beach, Rarotonga
This peaceful lagoon is perfect for a full day of family fun. The sheltered beach is safe, relaxed and great for little ones wanting to splash about. Nikao Beach also offers plenty of shade and picnic tables for families to relax and unwind after soaking up some sun.

One Foot Island, Aitutaki
With an abundance of coconut trees, pristine white sand and turquoise sparkling water, it's no surprise that this stunning island has been awarded the best beach on the planet. Teeming with colourful marine life and amazing snorkelling opportunities, One Foot Island is a major highlight of The Cook Islands.

Maina Island, Aitutaki
