Te Vara Nui Village presents a truly unique cultural experience as the home of the world's only over-water Polynesian theatrical show. Set within lush tropical gardens and framed by cascading rock waterfalls, the purpose-built lagoon stage blends floating and fixed platforms to create an immersive and atmospheric setting unlike anything else in the South Pacific.
By flaming torchlight this performance brings to life the legend of Tongaiti - a voyaging warrior who sailed from distant land and settled on Rarotonga - told through powerful song and dance on floating and fixed staged. A dynamic theatrical production that brings Polynesian heritage to life through ancestral storytelling, graceful dance and dramatic fire artistry. The performance is delivered by Rarotonga's leading dancers, drummers and musicians, ensuring an authentic and high-energy celebration of culture.
The experience is complemented by a generous Island-Western fusion buffet, expertly prepared by local and international chefs, allowing guests to enjoy exceptional cuisine alongside world-class entertainment. More than just dinner and a show, Te Vara Nui Village offers an unforgettable night of culture, connection and celebration for all ages.
