We had a wonderful holiday, which was prefaced by great responsiveness from Holly and the team at Travel Online. Strengths - I always got called back within 24 hours when I had issues, the team were forthcoming with answers and information, and I felt well prepared for the trip. The tours were fantastic, and met all expectations. Opportunities - there was a glitch with the payments and i was asked to pay additional money after I had already paid in full; there was a hitch with the internal flights for the trip to Sepilok, which I questioned. I was given assurances about the correct details, however when we got there I was told that the booking was still wrong and I was on a later flight; the on-site travel agent wasn't great, with me having to chase down our pick up times and tour details just about every day.

The tours were consistently strong, especially those with only a couple of people and a guide. The hotel was fantastic (only real jarring moment - when we got there, the maitre d about 5 minutes trying to upgrade our room, on the basis that the Ocean Wing was 'far far superior' to the Garden Wing and we would enjoy our trip much more'.

Sabah as a whole felt very safe, and was glorious - the Sepilok tour comes fully recommended, and the whole trip was an amazing reminder of how amazing their natural resources are, against how poor many of the Malaysians are.

I would recommend you to family and friends.

I have never booked with travelonline before. Everything was organised flights, hotel/airport transfers etc. There was not a single problem, everything ran very smoothly without a hitch. I will use travelonline again without a doubt

The package put together by Lisa was perfect.
On arrival Castaway said an error had occurred and only 1 Happiness Package selection was available. I emailed Lisa to query if it was really 1 option or 2 as was in our schedule. Lisa contacted Castaway and we had extra coupons delivered immediately to us in our Bure - with a huge apology. Lisa was very fast out of the blocks as we had a staff member on our door within hours of emailing Lisa.
