Le legon is a great resort we always tend to come back here. The pool bar stays open till 9:30 if that's your thing, but that of course means the pools open until late which the kids love. The service is not always the quickest but thats what you get in Vanuatu where everyone is so laid back. Vanuatu gives Fiji time a new meaning everything is chilled out. Great place to visit we would definately be going back again. Just be careful if you catch a taxi from the hotel as drivers may have had some Kava which makes them tired got to watch they don't fall asleep on you. There aren't many options the bus drivers around aren't much better.
Extremely happy with this resort. Would highly recommend.
Had a great time. Staff are just lovely and nothing to much trouble. Would like free Wi-Fi as most places now offer. Will definitely be back as we were married in Port Vila 25yrs ago.
Would recommend the warwick, a credit to the management and staff
Loved Warwick Le Lagon! Second time we have been there and were again pleased with our choice. Staff are friendly, service may be slow on the odd occasion but generally timely and always with a smile! The staff were also great with the kids. Only compliant would be that the food in the buffet was often a little over cooked. Otherwise always plenty of options of yummy things to taste.
We visited Vanuatu with our two daughters (7 and 9 years of age). This was their first trip overseas and we picked the perfect place. Warwick was wonderful, the pool was great, the food really lovely and always accessible. Adventure water sports were available as well as day spa and gold course. Staff are wonderful with children!
Loved our stay at Warwick Le Lagon but we found the food at the resort was quite pricey, as is a lot of things in Vanuatu. The location, rooms and service were fantastic though.
The staff were warm and helpful as well as patient. The location was lovely, we really enjoyed the pools and the outdoor sports available as well as facilities being available until late. The staff were gorgeous and Vanuatu was an interesting and surprising place for our first overseas family holiday. We were not keen on the dinner options at the resort. It would have been nice to have something in between pizza and the large and expensive buffet available. Wild Ginger's food was delicious but took over an hour which was difficult with children.
Warwick had great facilities for adults and kids. Lots of activities to do. Staff were nice and helpful. Loved the pool and swim-up pool bar. The Beauty spa is great. Would have liked Kids club to have more planned activities especially for boys.
Great family resort with amazing pool. Loved that kids eat free- made things very easy. Lagoon was lovely with so many starfish and we enjoyed the water activities!! Kids loved it and didn't want to come home!! Great water activities. Only negatives were that our accommodation and kids club looked a bit tired and our room was quite a walk away but it didn't hinder anything. Would definitely stay again!!
Our holiday was a great way to relax and enjoy the Warwwick La Lagon Resort and Spa. The pool area and the water sport options for adults and kids was great. Fantastic weather with sunshine made it a perfect time for us as a family. Access to the many tours around the island with friendly staff offering assistance and the local people very happy to take time to look after our needs made it easy to explore many great sites like Blue Lagoon. Our tour guide on the day was terrific and made our day very exciting.
I would recommend Vanuatu and the Warwick to my friends and family and I hope to return to this lush tropical escape.
Week not long enough - very friendly staff - nothing is too much trouble - extensive range on menus - rooms kept very clean - grounds / pool area / beach maintained beautifully
Lots to do for families.
A beautiful place to stay and relax with then add the sight seeing and adventures of the rest of the country made for an enjoyable and great fun holiday.
Excellent kids club, beautiful location, relaxing pool area, delicious fruits and great staff
Warwick Le Lagoon resort and spa was a very welcoming, family friendly and a very comfortable resort to stay in. The room was clean and tidy and the service at all areas of the resort was fantastic. Massages were great and the equipment we used were in very good condition - we sailed, kayaked, paddle board, snorkelled, and biked. We had the daily buffet breakfast in the mornings and it was very delicious, especially the stations where they make you your omelette to order. Location was great as it was opposite Erakor island where you could easily kayak or sail to explore. Also it was was just a short taxi ride into town to visit the local markets and shops. I really enjoyed the great hospitality the resort staff provided. Thank you for making our stay one we will never forget.
Warwick Le Lagon has a lot of things to occupy kids. The pools were really good as there is variety. Room was good and clean, but we had a lot of ants. Kids loved the kids club. Close enough to Port Vila to get drinks and snacks, which were much cheaper than the resort. Food was expensive but typical of a resort.
Had a great time, the staff were lovely and fantastic. The food was really overpriced. Far cheaprer to catch a bus or taxi into town and eat out, but this encourages people to get out of the resort and spread the tourist dollar around. I know other couples we meet there did the same thing.
Wow this place is absolutely beautiful. Food was great service was prompt and the staff were very helpful.. definitely will be back. Room 109 was perfect location for my family.
Warwick Le Lagon resort & spa is in an excellent location within a short drive to Port Villa. The only down side is that you pay resort prices for food and drinks, however there is plenty of choice for food with the buffet.
The resort is very relaxing and caters well for families. The staff are very friendly and the resort is kept immaculate. We definitely recommend this resort.
Thanks for your valuable feedback. Unfortunately due to sourcing fresh produce the meals can be a little higher in Vanuatu. We are pleased to hear you loved the resort
everything was amazing. Will be returuning
Very pleasant, relaxing stay. Staff excellent. Some minor issues, probably due to still reparing facilities following cyclone. Had to change room because of lack of hot water.
Lack of food options. Could have snack service (eg sandwiches, rolls, pies). Dont always want full buffet every meal.
Hated the food in the buffet, was dry and over cooked so we had to go out every night. Also not a lot of lunch options
The Kids Club was great for the young ones (& parents) and the service was exemplerary!
A very relaxing resort with friendly staff, drinks and food were over priced at our resort. We found it a lot cheaper to eat & drink out . A very poor country struggling after Cyclone Pam but with friendly and resilient locals !!!!
Our family of five (3 children aged 5, 3 & 4 months) stayed at this beautiful resort, set in a great location with the lovely Erakor Island just a paddle away. The food was very good and well-received by the children. The array of complimentary water sport activities was excellent, including canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, although our favourite were the catamarans. We were upgraded to a fantastic little bungalow with splendid water view. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, consistent with the people of Vanuatu. Having been to Bali recently, I found Vanuatu better on pretty much every level. There were only a couple of things that weren't great. The main one for us was the much-touted kids' club, which was pretty disappointing (our kids lasted half-an-hour). Secondly, the twelve-hole golf course had stunning views with plenty of potential, but was a bit run down and tired. Finally, the lack of free WiFi wasn't a deal breaker, but the paid service was ridiculously expensive (about $125 for 7 days). All in all however, Warwick Le Lagon was a superb resort and I would definitely go there again.
Our week long stay was our second visit to Le Lagon. The resort is a great place to stay, just as enjoyable as the last time we stayed in 2007. The whole family had a great time.
Great place, very relaxing. Staff very friendly. Weather good. Lots to do. Grandson loved it.
The team in the cyclone were fantastic. It was a stressful time and the Manager and his team did a great job. I will be back and if there is another cyclone I will be staying at the Warwick Le Lagon. The food at the Ginger restaurant (sorry I can't remember the name) was outstanding!
Loved our stay from start to finish. Everything was extremely high standard and staff were great. Free upgrade was wonderful.
We had a great time, and the kids club was really lovely. The kids couldn't wait to go each day!
Very beautiful place, just the \"deluxe room\" was little old but very nice bathroom. The japanese restaurant is delicious and all the staff really friendly. Thanks for the good holiday !!!
Lovely hotel. Room was very spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent food and great kids club. Would highly recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay at Warwick Le Lagon. The staff were fantastic, The location & the activities were great. Accommodation was OK, if we went back we may upgrade. Definitely a good place for families & if down the track we were to go with family & grandchildren we would go to Warwick Le Lagon.
As we had stayed here last year also, it was great to see the staff that we had met on our first visit. The people of Vanuatu just can't seem to be able to do enough for people. I recommend Warwick Le Lagon to all. We will definately be going back again.
This was my second stay at Le lagon and equally as good. Would highly recommend to all! Love the people love the place.
We had a wonderful time staying at the Warwick Le Lagon Resort. The staff were all very friendly, polite and catered for all our needs and requests. It was very windy on most days at the resort, but we still managed to sun bake and enjoy all the non motorized equipment available to us. There are 3 pools and a hot spa all located in the same area but on different levels. The lake area adjoining the resort was perfect for using the canoes and catamarans. Snorkelling can be done in the deeper water, but the area is full of starfish so I would recommend reef shoes if you decide to walk in.
This was our second time at Le Lagon and we will be back for the third. The resort and the people are fantastic and can not do enough for you. We had a wonderful time and this trip our son was married at the resort and they made as all feel like royalty.Thank you to everyone for making our holiday something we will never forget.
Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and everything is there.the snorkel safari with George from water sports is a must. Food at restaurant fantastic. If anything the tour desk could be a bit more informed on the brochures they have on hand- we got the best advice on tours from other guests.
This is definitely the place we will stay when we come back.
My husband and I returned last Saturday evening from 7 days at Warwick Le Lagon Resort & Spa . Perfect location and great pool areas for adults and children. Altogether a lovely relaxing holiday. We ate a Wild Ginger 3 times and the food and service was wonderful. Also the buffet had lots of variety and food was delicious. Massage at Oasis Spa was very relaxing. The only bad thing was the internet charge of 1000 Vatu per hour.
Would definitely recommend this resort and look to going back.
We had a fantastic stay at the Warwick Le Lagoon. Hopefully we will be back to visit.
Paradise for couples and families! A great place to unwind and relax. Plenty to do IF you chose to leave the resort!
Would recommend this to anyone who likes a cultural difference, laid back holiday that doesn't require long distance flying. Can't wait to go back
The staff and service was excellent. Facilities are great and the activities within the resort kept us busy. Definitely recommend to everybody. Very family friendly also. Food and drinks are pricey though but that wouldn't stop us from visiting again.
what a wonderful place for our first overseas holiday just beautiful. staff very helpful
Great room and location, pools, food and service - not cheap but very enjoyable.
Wonderful & relaxing atmosphere ! Kids absolutely loved Kids club & their Teacher Rita. Le lagoon has beautiful gardens & friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing family getaway. Not only is the Resort fabulous but Vanuatu as a destination is worth the trip. Loved it !
It was an incredible experience and the resort and staff were excellent. We will be recommending it to everyone!!!!
very friendly staff and excellent location, rooms need a little sprucing up
An extremely enjoyable holiday, will come again. Thankyou
We had an absolute awesome time. The Staff are tremendous, couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend this venue to everybody. Planning to go back in 2 years time.
Great stay very hot at this time the music was way too loud and not everone is a regae fan but overall enjoyed the property.
We stayed at Le Lagon for 8 days and we really enjoyed it for the most part but we did have a couple of issues with the service and our room conditions. ( a group of 8 in 3 rooms)
Firstly, the service was great from a couple of staff members (Joanne at reception and Timmy and James at the pool bar) but most of the other staff did not seem very happy in their job. Last year we went to Fiji and the staff there were all very happy doing what they were doing at it showed.
Also the rooms needed renovating in my opinion and their condition did not reflect the overall condition of the resort gardens and pool area which were excellent.
The dining was OK but again nothing like what we experienced at the Radisson in Fiji.
I may come back but if I do I will either expect better overall value or a cheaper price.
Very good place for familiy holidays
Room was lovely and cleaned well each day. The pools and surrounding areas were well maintained and in a beautiful setting. The snorkling tour was good value, and being able to feed the fish added to the experience. The few problems we did experience (like no cables for the in-room DVD player and an over charge for dinner) were rectified by friendly staff. Being only a short taxi/bus ride into Port Villa the location is excellent if you want to dine in town rather than at the resort.
The location for this resort is superb, and the kids facilities are awesome.
Don't expect a bali type holiday with all cost the same as in Australia. There is nothing cheap about vanuatu.
Spa massage for two people $400AU
Can of coke $5
Dinner at wild ginger for two $160+
Cadbury chocolate bar at supermarket $6
But the experience of vanuatu is beautiful, very relaxing and pleasant experience.
P.s forget asking for a late check-out. To have our check-out changed from 10am - 11am, they asked for $110AU.
We stayed at the Warwick only one week and it was beautiful. From the moment we walked into the foyer, escorted through the grounds and gardens, past the pool and restaurants then to our room we felt welcomed, relaxed and excited at the same time. The variety, choice and quality of the food was excellent, served by generously kind and experienced staff, that it was there pleasure to care for us. We should have stayed longer, and we will return. Thank you, we made a wise decision to invest in a holiday with you.
Very good resort. Room quality good, pool area excellent. Taxi's cheap to go into town as we did not want to eat at Resort every night. Wild Ginger Restaurant excellent.
Needed a holiday very badly, big change-full year. This was the ideal location
