Join your local tour guide on this magical experience at the Khaolak Elephant Sanctuary. This 2 hour Eco Guide Tour introduces you to rescued elephants, now in their natural habitat in the jungle. Follow their daily routines by getting up close and personal to these magnificent animals and learn about each of their stories.
The tour starts with a hotel pick up and a scenic drive in an air-conditioned van to the Elephant Sanctuary, where the elephants live in a safe, sustainable and ethical environment. Walk with your guide, gathering bananas and cane sugar to feed the elephants these scrumptious snacks. Interact with the elephants while you learn about their lifestyles and behavious as they roam-free in the jungle. After you've met the elephants you'll get a chance to apply mud to their skin and then help them wash and brush it off at a nearby river. There is also an opportunity to take photographs with your new friends.

Note: The elephant bathing and feeding activities are designed to support their natural behavior, as observed in the wild. The elephants are never forced to engage in any activity they are not willing to participate in. For safety reasons, this tour does not accept pregnant women, children under 2 years and adults over 75 years old. Tours are not recommended for people with previous back injuries, heart illnesses, or other serious health problems, as the activity might be away from any medical attention.
