Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort is island accommodation at its most luxurious. Set in a beautiful secluded islet right on the edge of stunning Aitutaki Lagoon, the resort presents breathtaking views of the lagoon and the surrounding beach and gardens. The resort is the only one directly on Aitutaki Lagoon and offers the Cook Island's only overwater bungalows.
These unique and luxurious bungalows are set among coconut palms and exotic gardens and all accommodation is fitted with plaited kikau for roofs, hand-woven pandanus wall matting, coconut hemp rope and locally crafted artefacts.
The onsite dining options offer fine a la carte menu and specialise in local seafood. The resort also features a number of excellent facilities including a boutique, beautifully landscaped swimming pool, twice weekly cultural shows and a wide range of excursions so everything you could possibly need while on holiday in the Cook Islands is never far from your accommodation.

Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow

Premium Beachfront Bungalow
Located facing the sands of Sunset Beach with views over the Aitutaki Lagoon and shaded by the coconut palms. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds OR 1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed OR 3 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.
Overwater Bungalow
These are the only overwater bungalows in the Cook Islands, featuring stylish tropical Polynesian décor and carved Cook Islands artefacts. Steps offer direct access to the lagoon below and there is also an outdoor shower on the lower verandah deck. Size is 67m². Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed OR 3 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.
Royal Honeymoon Private Pool Villa
Features Full Kitchen. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults. Price on Application.

Getting There

Most wonderful holiday
The resort far exceeded our expectations. The staff were super friendly which added to our wonderful experience. The location, room & dining was simply stunning.

Great Location
Staff could not do enough for us & they are so friendly & helpful. Bungalows are a good size & very clean when we arrived. As it was only a 3 night stay we choose $20 off our bill to forgo the daily clean of the room . Only downside were the pools, one badly needed repairs as tiles were coming off & our feet & hands had green colour of them from rubbing on the tiles. The other pool's bottom looked liked it could use a good clean. Lucky the lagoon water made up for the pools as it was crystal clear!
