With no street lights it is difficult to navigate.

Was a lovely location, not walking distance to town but not far away, lovely views

My friend and I spent a week in a garden cottage at Coast resort. We were surprised at how spacious and private the cottage was with full kitchen, spacious bedroom with 2 beds and ample wardrobe space. The view from the back verandah was stunning - green rolling hills leading to the sea. Cattle and hens roam freely. The manager was usually around and always available on the phone provided. No internet in the cottage but we found hot spots around the island which had free Wi-fi. An enjoyable experience.

Amazing views, very comfortable, peace and quiet, self-contained, great place to stay.

We travelled around the whole island and noticed some of the accommodations in town but at Coast we were only a short drive in to town. WE think we had the best accommodation with views to the ocean. A very quiet central location . We had an apartment with seperate bedroom and the kitchen was well equipped. We could also help ourselves to things like condiments, butter, jam, in fact anything that was in the fridge in the central rotunda area. Most days there was also bananas on offer. The only thing we had to pay for was eggs. There were golf clubs, bikes and scuba gear to use free if you wanted. Raewyn was very hospitable and always keen to help if we needed anything. Overall a lovely stay at Coast.

We had a self contained studio, and although a little dated, it was spotlessly clean and in a great position. It had everything we needed, and was great value.

We loved Rahooloo Cottage at Coast. It had everything for a comfortable self-contained stay. Spacious living area and comfy beds. Beautiful views to the ocean. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. Greeted at the bus and shown to our rooms and help with our bags.
The apartment was simple and comfortable but the view was spectacular from the balcony.
Beautifully maintained gardens where you can sit and relax and soak up the sunshine.
Very quiet location a little out of town. Lush, green and peaceful. Laundry/clothesline, bbq, seating in garden, beach house for activities…

A beautiful place, laid back . Local people have their own unique perspective on things. Had some fascinating conversations.

After waiting and needing to postpone our holiday 3 times due to the pandemic,I have nothing but praise for all aspects of our beautiful holiday at Norfolk Island.The weather was sensational as well.We will be back.

The unit was spacious and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful area with rolling green hills and the sounds of the waves crashing was awesome. Would definitely recommended a stay here.

Clean comfortable accommodation with friendly helpful staff. Would stay here again, we loved it.

Coast was a great place to chill out and only a short drive to town. Accommodation had everything we needed and more, lots of the little things not usually available. Boathouse (bbq area) was very well equipped, having a laundry was great along with picnic gear and push bikes for ones use. Pool looked great, gardens and grounds were well maintained. No onsite management but did see staff regularly, were very approachable and friendly.

I would go back to the Coast tomorrow

Coast is a lovely place to stay. It is situated a few minutes from town, but it is worth driving to stay at such a lovely spot. The views are fantastic. There is every amenity, including the Boat House with BBQ for cooking with room for a group to gather. And a special shout out to Raewyn who looks after the property and ensures that everything is ok and you are comfortable.

Close to main town centre and airport. Had everything we needed; fishing gear and golf clubs a bonus. Recommend for families and couples

It is hard to award stars for dining and service when all the eating was done away from the "Coast" and no service was required. You do need a car because it is out of town so to speak. I really loved my time there and would like to go back to Norfolk Island and I would be happy to stay at the "Coast" again

Coast is superbly located - on a quiet road, with direct access to Kingston. The garden cottage was clean and comfortable and the late checkout on our only rainy day was most appreciated. The amenities and free extras like snorkelling gear, DVDs, books etc were great. We would definitely stay at Coast again.

Fantastic location, great view, lovely hosts

A wonderful, quiet location out of the way from most disturbances, only a 25 minute walk to town. All the necessary facilities are on site, Staff are friendly and obliging.

We had a wonderful short break. The chalet was basic but we spent little time there-bed was comfy.
Fantastic views of the valley leading down to Kingston. We will return!

We had a very good week at Coast.
Raewyn was very helpful, nice to have fresh bananas some days, accom and surrounds very comfortable. Laundry & clothes line useful. Room not serviced but we liked having our independence. Everything we needed seemed to be available. Having a car was a must and so good to trip around in. Nice restaurants not too far away in town. Enjoyed Fish Fry & Progressive Dinner as extra things to do on the island. Weather was mostly very good also. Really enjoyed NI & it’s varied history.

Routi house is a great little cottage with all the ammentities you need and situated in a country landscape with ocean views. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time at Coast on Norfolk Island where everyone has a smile on their face and a story to tell .

We loved staying at the Coast as it was an idyllic country style location that was still close to town but away from the centre of activity. We enjoyed seeing the cows, sheep and Peppy the horse who greeted us every day. The accommodation and grounds were immaculately maintained and the management were very friendly and obliging. Would definitely recommend Coast and would stay there again if we were fortunate enough to return to Norfolk.

Norfolk Island has many great accommodation options, but Coast is one of the best for views, relaxation, clean and comfortable rooms plus friendly staff.

I shared my long weekend with family and friends. We were welcomed to Norfolk Island by friendly staff who organised our transfer to our accommodation "Coast". The apartments were spacious and meet our needs with comfort and great facilities. We meet the owner who proudly showed us the newly renovated rooms...nice! I would certainly stay there again.

Were upgraded by "Gordie" on arrival and made to feel very welcome.Everything needed was provided for self catering.One bedroom unit could not be faulted for cleanliness and beds very comfortable. The view over the green country and out to sea was so relaxing Pool outside our balcony....Just a little out of town over country roads but with the hire car was not a problem and added to the atmosphere of the island. Will go back again.

We could be as active or relaxed as we liked. Good facilities for self-catering, obliging service, happy to recommend Coast.

Well I can not praise Coast highly enough. We had a fantastic time there. A little VW was supplied to run about in. Our unit was supplied with a king sized comfy bed. Everything was neat and clean throughout the kitchen and bathroom. Full sized fridge. Laundry room available as was a great BBQ area. We will be back and recommended Coast to our family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coast. Our cottage was well equipped and the view was great. Raewyn was very helpful and having the car made getting around very easy. I would really recommend doing the half day orientation tour as it gives you a great idea of things to do for the rest of the week.

Rahooloo has a lovely atmosphere and the view out is stunning. Raewyn looked after us very well.

Stayed 7 nights at Coast on Norfolk Island. Excellent package including a car and half-day tour. Coast is very conveniently located, close to town and airport and with a view of the sea at Kingston.
Our newly refurbished unit had everything we needed, especially appreciated access to the books in the library for wet days. The only thing that would have improved it is to have had some soap supplied in the unit. Otherwise very good.

The Coast was perfect for us. Good value as we were able to cater our own meals and also there are plenty of great restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes drive (no restaurant within the Coast itself). The staff were friendly and responsive to requests. Car hire was included in our booking and snorkel equipment (not fins), bikes (but NI is very hilly) and other equipment was available for guest use.

COAST is a family owned rural property with ocean views in a serene setting. It is only 5 mins drive to Kingston township, which makes it the perfect place to stay. We stayed in a refurbished unit which was clean and had all the comforts we required for a happy stay. The owner Gordie was very welcoming and the housemaid Rae was warm, friendly and helpful. The property boasts its own beauty spa house which I took advantage of with a delightful massage & body scrub.
We loved our stay at COAST and cant wait to return.

My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed the total experience of Norfolk Island and we will highly recommend that this be a destination to go to for total relaxation.
The Cost accommodation was a wonderful experience, the staff were very helpful and nothing was ever too much. The facilities were excellent, relaxing and of a high hygienic standard, the beds and lounge were very comfortable. Everything we could want in a private, quite and comfortable place to spend a rejuvenating holiday away from home.
well done to all the staff that are committed to providing a quality home away from home relaxing experience. This accommodation is exactly right for people who do not want the business of young children who I am sure would find this private, secluded place perhaps too quite and uneventful and may start graving a more active place to spend their holiday. This is a place for those who want a retreat that they can reenergise in.

This was a great place to stay and unwind from the Xmas rush. Although accommodation was fully booked, it was quiet. Facilities are excellent. We didn't want to leave and will return.

The experience at Ponderosa on Norfolk Island was exceptional value for money.

Great location, just far enough away from the main street. Well equipped gazebo with full BBQ needs. The housekeeper, Raewyn, could not do enough for us - organising a massage, finding the answer to any questions we asked her eg. bush walks, places to eat etc. Would fully recommend this accommodation.

Everything about Ponderosa was excellent. The Niau cottage was perfect. The little extras such as picnic basket and snorkelling gear beach umbrella etc were a real bonus. Management was very friendly and most helpful.

Norfolk Island a place that has heaps to do and just relax.
The only suggestion I would make is that some of the historical prints need to be reproduced for sale to the tourists.
