This daily outer reef cruise aboard the Silversonic offers the ultimate way to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Stopping at 3 sites in the Agincourt Ribbon Reef System, the luxury catamaran is the fastest vessel that visits this Great Barrier Reef destination from Port Douglas, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the reef.

Despite its top speed of 32 knots, Silversonic offers a smooth and stable ride thanks to its ride control system ensuring you're feeling your best for swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving these exclusive sites. There are also an excellent range of facilities on bard including a full bar, expansive sundecks and freshwater showers with a tropical buffet lunch and morning and afternoon tea also served on board.


8.15am: On boarding enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a foccacia bread. For your safety, hot drinks are not served once the vessel is underway. Passengers are required to be onboard the vessel 15 minutes before departure.

8.30am: Depart The Reef Marina for the trip to the Outer Barrier Reef. On the way, detailed certified and introductory dive briefings are given.

10.00am: Arrive at the 1st site. Divers gear up, while snorkelers listen to a site briefing by the snorkeling advisor. Get ready to view the beauty of this natural wonder!

11.30am: Move to 2nd site... After the initial water activities, enjoy a tropical hot and cold lunch [included in the fare] served in the air conditioned cabin. The lunch includes fresh prawns, pasta, meats, salads and fruit. There are bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks.

1.15pm: Silversonic moves to 3rd location on Agincourt Reef system. Option for introductory divers to do second dive and certified divers to do their third. Snorkelers are once again briefed as to the best areas to snorkel.

2.15pm: Afternoon tea is served.

3.00pm: Depart Agincourt Reef for Port Douglas. Reef video viewing on board.

4.30pm: Arrival at The Reef Marina, Port Douglas.
