Overview

This eco adventure allows you the freedom to experience the sheer beauty of Green Island and the Great Barrier Reef first hand at your own pace. Renowned as an adventure playground, Green Island is a 6000-year-old coral cay home to lush tropical rainforest, pristine beaches, colourful coral and an abundance of marine life.

Your time on this tour can be spent swimming in the crystal waters of the Pacific Ocean, snorkelling the beautiful reef, strolling through the jungle or simply relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun. How you spend your time is completely up to you while on the Green Island Eco Adventure.

Getting There

The Green Island Eco Adventure departs from the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal. A self-drive option is available, however there are options to add on coach transfers for pick up and drop off from Cairns and Northern Beaches hotels (Palm Cove and Trinity Beach).

Pick up from Northern Beaches is from approximately 6.40am. Please note there is a wait at the Reef Fleet Terminal after being dropped off by the transfer and until the tour departs.

Times

Departs: 8.30am or 10.30am daily from Carins Reef Fleet Terminal (check in is 30 minutes prior)
Returns: 3.20pm or 5.20pm

This tour does not operate on Easter Sunday, ANZAC Day 25 April, Christmas Day 25 December and New Years Day 1 January.

Please Note: Guests can choose from a range of affordable meal and snack options from Green Island's restaurants and food outlets
What to bring: Camera, towels, swimwear, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a shirt for sun protection, comfortable shoes, spending money for lunch, refreshments, souvenirs or optional activities
