Overview

Paradise Country is a fantastic Gold Coast theme park for families wishing to experience the Australian farm and outback way of life, all just 30 minutes from the Gold Coast. Located right behind the Wet'n'Wild and Warner Bros. Movie World theme parks, Paradise Country is a world away from the city and beaches allowing visitors to encounter a working farm with its animals and wildlife.

Open daily Paradise Country features an array of shows and experiences which visitors can choose to journey through at their own pace. Paradise Country can easily be experienced in either a morning, afternoon or full day out.

The choice of experiences include the Stockman Show where stockmen and their dogs work together to round up a flock of sheep, as well as the Stock Horse Arena & Billy Tea show where guests sit around the campfire and learn about the craftmanship of Billy Tea and watch the speed and skill of the Australian Stock Horse. Get up close with the farm animals and wildlife with a variety of animal encounters.

Visit the major theme parks while on the Gold Coast with one of the Gold Coast Theme Park Passes. There are two passes on offer to suit most visitors. Visit Sea World, Wet'n'Wild, Warner Bros. Movie World and Paradise Country for action-packed adventures with the family.

Itinerary Options

Stock Horse Arena & Billy Tea Show: Witness the Australian Stock Horse as the stockmen ride them around the ring and over various obstacles. Enjoy a campfire, learning about the craftmanship of Billy Tea.

Stockman Show: Enjoy the show as the stockmen and their dogs round up the sheep. Learn to milk a cow, throw a boomerang and crack a stock whip.

Wildlife Walkabout: Wander around the grounds to spot the local wildlife and take the opportunity to hand feed kangaroos and emus. Listen to an informative wildlife talk hosted by the zookeepers.

Gold Panning: Place your special panning tray in the running water and let the fossicking begin as you pan for gold and precious gems.

Opal Mining: Get to work with your special pick axe to find elusive gems. If you are lucky enough to make an opal discovery, take it home as a hard-earned souvenir.

Pony Rides: Make your child's day with a pony ride at the Pony Arena!
