Great Resort!

Our family stayed here for over a week at the end of June. Staff were fantastic, kids activities and care was great and our Residence was huge. Weather for us was up and down so we probably did not get the best out of all the resort had to offer, but it was better than being at home in a highlands winter!

Family paradise

We couldn't have wished for a more fantastic holiday - everything exceeded our expectations! We felt like we were on our honeymoon again even though we had our two young children with us - the resort, the lovely people who work at the resort and the food were all amazing.

Relaxing with very attentive staff

Nanuku is a stunning small resort catering mainly for families in my opinion. We arrived with our friends who also had 4 children so all together we had 8 children 9 and under. Our Fiji Buddies were exceptional. Tears from our children and their nannies as we were leaving. The accommodation was amazing and our Villa Mama took care of all our needs. The staff are extremely attentive as everyone seemed to know what was going on with us at all times. The breakfast menu needs to display cereal options for the kids and it would have been great if more entertainment was provided by the resort for the children (and us adults) late afternoon to night time. Especially for the kids to get involved in i.e. resort disco? Polynesian dancing?. The day trip to 'the island' was phenomenal.

A dream family holiday!

The Staff at Nanuku Auberge resort treated us like their own family. Their service was impeccable!! We relaxed very quickly and ate far too much of the most exquisite food. The resort was absolutely beautiful and our room was pure luxury. Our children had the time of their lives and there were many tears when we left. Thank you Nanuku for making our holiday so memorable. I highly recommend this resort if you are looking for luxury and romance. Yes, romance is possible if you have children stay at Nanuku, as they are so well cared for.

Exceptional holiday venue

My husband and I recently stayed at Nanuku Auberge with our 10 month old. The resort was in pristine condition and everyone was so friendly and treated us like family. The meals were top class, as good as you would get in any five star restaurant. It was lovely to have a nanny, so you can get bit of time on your own. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade on our room to the deluxe suite, which was absolutely divine. The ocean was beautiful and the kayaking is a must. It was the perfect getaway and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for this style of holiday.

Absolutely fantastic holiday at Nanuku

I can't speak highly enough of Nanuku - it was a beautiful resort with the most fantastic, happy and helpful team. Beautiful location, lovely rooms and food to die for. The only possible suggestion is to include all drinks in the package price, I don't think it would make a huge difference to Nanuku but it would improve the whole "relaxed" ambience of the resort. I absolutely loved our time at Nanuku including all the activities.

Relaxing

The resort was what we hoped for. The food service and quality was higher than our expectation. The three course dinners at each mealtime were exceptional. It's certainly a couples resort which is our preference. We upgraded to the penthouse suite during our stay. The penthouse is certainly spectacular. We requested an upgrade for two nights and were happily surprised when they gave us an additional night in the penthouse at no extra charge. We were moved to the penthouse at 9.30 am which gave us so much extra time in the beautiful surrounds. A late checkout from the penthouse was not a bother to the resort either. The complementary massages were very good. We also received an additional complementary massage during our stay. Some people complained about the price of some drinks, i.e. F$26 for some cocktails outside happy hour prices , however we see it as no more expensive than hotels in Sydney. If people are going to penny pinch and want champagne service on a beer budget, this is not the place for them. We saw people haggling over prices but this place IS good value for what you get. We appreciated the service with a smile, the wonderful reception, and many extras the resort management and staff provided to us.

Fantastic Location, beautiful people

My Husband and I just spent 5 days at the resort celebrating out 29th wedding anniversary, and it was amazing! It is hard to capture everything that makes it so unique, location, great food, superb service... it goes on and on... but above all the people are so genuine, friendly and open, and always address you by name, which makes you feel like part of the extended family (how they remember everyone is a mystery).

George, our Villa Buddy shared some great stories with us of Fijian culture and his family, and Ani our Villa Momma was always there to see if she could do something more for us and leave flowers on our bed each day. She really made us feel like special friends.

We arrived on Valentines Day and a beautiful welcome message was written in flowers on our bed, so special. Our anniversary was the next day and we were presented with a wonderful cake from the pastry chef and a song (which had us tearing up) from the fantastic trio of entertainers, who's names I actually did not get to know. They played wonderful ukelele each night for a few hours during cocktail hour and dinner.

So many wonderful memories, so many wonderful people who always took the time to ask how you were and if they could do anything more. From the special welcome and show around of the resort from Vincent, Lemba who always made us laugh with her sense of humour, Jenny and Una, who always seated us at a different table each meal, and Brenton who we shared rugby stories with during dinner time (Fiji won the 7's series in Las vegas while we were there!!) ...to the excellent food from Walter and team. And last but not least to Ben, Nathan, Pula and Isaac, who made sure we had great cocktails and wonderful canapés during cocktail hour and beyond. We also enjoyed a marvellous complimentary massage, which was fantastic.

Our farewell was again very personal with a song and send off from the entire team, we were sad to leave but hope to be back one day in the future.

Thanks also to Karen, the GM, for always stopping to chat and being so positive, which I'm sure is overall a reflection of the attitude of all who work at Nanuku!

Hope to be back!
