Great hotel for that getaway with your partner to relax & enjoy time with each other. Everything was sensational from the time we arrived to the time we left. Can't fault this place. People just need to be aware that it is very different to being in kuta, Legian, Seminyak & the like where you can just walk out of your hotel & go to whatever suits. Here you are away from everything.....absolutely beautiful.
This is an amazing hotel. Scenery stunning. Very isolated but plenty of activities available. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Service, qualuty of rooms an ammenities second to none.
wonderful, could not fault.
Highlight is swimming in the heated infinity pool overlooking the valley and jungle beyond. Great jogging track that winds down to the river and around the resort. Excellent health club with free weights and an assortment of treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines etc. Great breakfast with choice of Puhu restaurant on the 4th floor with great views or the Pool Bar & Cafe which was less crowded with great service. Recommend taking some warm clothing as it was cooler and wet for our 3 night stay. We would return as it is a nice break from the chaos and noise of Seminyak & Kuta.
Our stay in the Padma Ubud was exactly how I pictured it would be, total peace and tranquillity and the forest that surrounds its absolutely beautiful. The infinity pool is a must and have never seen anything like that before, the view is stunning and you can't help feel at ease when your there. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The Spa was an amazing experience the staff are very caring and excellent at the services they provide, it was a surreal experience as the spa is underground and beautiful. If you are feeling stressed/tired Padma Ubud is a wonderful place to unwind. My only negative is the restaurant by the pool - very average food whereas the upstairs restaurant is much better.
We loved the resort but it was a long way from the centre of Ubud. With the traffic congestion it can take up to an hour to get into town.
The resort grounds, pool area and walking and cycling trails are beautiful. However, we did feel that the food in general and staff are not as polished and professional as the Padma Legian. I did learn that they employ local staff, so I did like that about the Padma Ubud to give locals an opportunity.
We had a lovely, relaxing four night stay in this resort. Everything we wanted and needed. Staff extremely pleasant and very helpful throughout the resort. Well done!
Was excellent. I think only for couples bit far out if u really want to do anything not really a place for kids but very relaxing
