The summer months from December to March are especially warm and sultry with January being the hottest month (28°C). This time of year also coincides with Hayman Island's rainy season, where an increase in temperature and humidity brings frequent showers to the area. February is the rainiest month of the year and is usually a quiet time to visit.

Additionally, September is a popular month to visit and provides optimal conditions for exploring the beautiful landscapes. Off-peak season generally occurs between January and March where the island is less crowded and accommodation prices are cheaper.
