Caloundra Golf Club

Located just 5 minutes from the centre of Caloundra, the Caloundra Golf Club has a long and strong history within the local community. Established in 1951, the club was originally a 9-hole course but doubled in size and in 1966 opened as an 18-hole course. A popular leisure and recreation facility for local golfers and visitors alike, the Caloundra Golf Club achieved championship status by 1989.

Today, Caloundra Golf Club continues to remain a favourite with locals and visitors and offers a challenging yet enjoyable 71 par 5987m course. Renowned for its abundant wildlife, the course is home to a resident flock of Rainbow Lorikeets which make for a spectacularly colourful sight at their 4pm daily feeding time.

Situated at the Sunshine Coast’s southern tip, Caloundra Golf Club offers a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere just minutes from the beach. Also often spotted on the course are kangaroos and the 18th hole is known as the best. Ranked par 4, the 380m hole is bordered by traps on the left and trees on the right, making for a rather pretty sight.
