The major highlight - the famous `Shotover Jet` turn, where your boat spins through a full 360 degrees on its own length! Times
Operates: 10.00am - 4.00pm daily, with departures every hour
Departs: Complimentary transfers for selected ride times from The Station Building, corner of Camp and Shotover Streets, Queenstown. Check in for transfer 45 minutes prior to ride departure time.
Self-Drive: For guests who are self-driving, please make own way to 3 Arthurs Point Road, Arthurs Point, Queenstown. Check in 30 minutes prior to ride departure time.
Duration: Allow 1 hour and 45 minutes including transfers from Queenstown (jet boat ride is 25 minutes)
Additional Info
Children: 5-15 years. Minimum height is 1 meter (Shotover Jet reserves the right to extend to 1.2 meters should the weather and river conditions on the day dictate). Children under 5 years old who meet the minimum height requirement are free with a fare paying adult. All children must travel with a fare paying adult 16 years and older.
Notes: This tour is not recommended if you are pregnant. If for any reason, medical or otherwise, you are unable to get into and out of the jet boat without assistance, you are required to have two support people who are able to get you in and out and they must also be booked on your trip. There is no weight limit but you must be able to fit into one of the life jackets to ride and you must be able to get into and out of the jet boat.
What to Bring: Sunglasses/glasses, waterproof jacket or raincoat, warm clothes such as hat and gloves are strongly recommended in winter. For safety reasons, the use of handheld personal cameras and video cameras are not permitted aboard the jet boats. You may wear action cameras on a headstrap only.
