The Milford Overnight Cruise offers you a very special experience with accommodation aboard the Milford Mariner, designed along the lines of a traditional New Zealand coastal trading scow to reflect Fiordland`s heritage. Catering to a maximum of 64 guests who enjoy comfort, combined with activity, the Milford Mariner features private cabins with ensuites and limited quad-share bunk-style compartments with shared bathroom facilities. There is a spacious dining saloon, licensed bar, observation lounge and large open deck areas for viewing the scenery of Milford Sound.
The vessel explores the Sound in a leisurely way, with plenty of time to view waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife, anchoring overnight in the tranquil Harrison Cove. For those who are more adventurous, you can immerse yourself in the wilderness by paddling out with a kayak, taking a tender boat excursion or enjoying a refreshing swim in the cool waters.
Indulge in a delicious buffet dinner with local fresh seafood, carved meats, vegetarian options and a selection of desserts. A nature guide offers an optional evening presentation where you can learn about Milford Sound`s history, ecosystems and conservation efforts.
