Make your way to the Queenstown departure point where you'll meet the team and your new rafting friends. From here the shuttle will take you to the rafting base where you'll be given your full wetsuit, rafting clothing and safety equipment. There is an extensive safety briefing provided by your guides before another shuttle bus travels via Skippers Canyon Roads to the start of Deep Creek.
Now, the adventure begins! The Shotover River Whitewater Rafting experience tackles six grade 3-5 whitewater rapids as well as the 170m Oxenbridge Tunnel. Witness some of the most scenic environments in the world through the stunning canyons. Paddle back to base and enjoy a hot shower. Jump back on the shuttle to downtown Queenstown and relive the highlight reel with your friends.

Departs: daily at 8.00am or 1.00pm from RealNZ Visitor Centre, 88 Beach Street, Queenstown. Please make your own way to the departure point.
Returns: 12.30pm or 5.30pm
Tour does not operate on Christmas Day 25 December or between end of April - mid October.
Children: Minimum age is 13 years old (proof of age may be required, and staff reserve the right to decline participation if age is in doubt). Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult or have parental/guardian consent.
What to Bring: Swimwear and towel. Do not bring any valuables.
Note: Minimum numbers are required to operate.  Minimum weight is 40kg and maximum weight is 120kg (weight will be verified upon check-in). Participants must be water-competent (i.e. able to swim 25m unaided) with moderate fitness. Participants with any heart condition (except managed blood pressure with medication) are not able to participate. Participants who are pregnant are not able to participate. Participants must be able to understand and follow safety briefings in English. If not, a member of their party must be able to translate.
