Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort offers a range of accommodation options to perfectly compliment the island's spectacular natural environment utilising an eco-friendly lifestyle concept with no interruptions from the outside world to disturb the peace including no telephones, televisions or radios. All Rooms Feature:
Eco Cabin: Situated within 20-30 metres of Sunrise Beach, the Eco Cabins are safari style tents. Every cabin as a ceiling fan and louvers for maximum air flow as well as a furnished deck offering two chairs for added relaxation. The shared bathroom facilities are located approximately 30 metres away from the cabins. Bedding is 2 sets of Bunk Beds OR 1 Double Bed + 1 set of Bunk Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children.
Garden Unit: Situated within 20-30 metres of the beach, the Garden Units are arranged in blocks of three, and feature polished timber floors, wardrobe space, a ceiling fan, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar fridge. The ensuite bathrooms are complete with a shower, toilet and basin. Each unit has its own furnished balcony overlooking the grounds. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 1 set of Bunk Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children.
Reef Unit: These units are arranged in blocks of three, and situated less then 10 metres from the beach. each of the Reef Units feature polished timber floors, wardrobe space, a ceiling fan, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar fridge. The ensuite bathrooms are complete with a shower, toilet and basin. With a furnished balcony overlooking the water, you can relax and take in the stunning lagoon views. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 1 set of Bunk Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children.
2 Bedroom Beachfront Unit: Each suite offers absolute beach frontage and features a great balcony with stunning lagoon views. Complete with separate air-conditioned lounge, other facilities include a kitchenette with microwave, bar fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. The spacious bathroom includes a shower, toilet and basin. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults OR 4 Adults + 1 Child.
Glamping Tent: Set amongst the natural flora, immerse yourself in mother nature, whilst enjoying spectacular lagoon views. During certain seasons, migratory birds nest in surrounding vegetation and green and loggerhead turtles come ashore to lay their eggs only metres from your doorstep. These Glamping Tents are ideal for couples and feature a private bathroom, with a secluded balcony, a fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and are fan cooled. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Sit back and relax at the Beachfront Dining Room, Cafe and Lagoon Bar and enjoy the stunning ocean views. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style dining and served in the Beachfront Dining Room, whilst lunch, snacks and lighter meals are available from the Beachfront Cafe. The Beachfront Lagoon Bar is the perfect location to unwind after a day of adventure and watch the sunset. Special dietary requires are catered for with advance notice.
As you would expect on a coral cay there are a lot of water based activities to keep you entertained during the day. These include snorkelling, fish feeding and glass bottom boat rides. Out of the water, guests can enjoy guided day and night walks, star gazing, see turtle nesting and hatching tours (in season), or enjoy a game of volleyball, pool or choose from a selection of board games available.

Scuba Diving is very popular on Lady Elliot Island. There are a number of dive sites that are a short boat trip from the resort or accessed from the beach. Alternatively if you are short for time, you can discover the Lady Elliot Island Day Tour departing from Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Brisbane (Redcliffe) or Gold Coast.

Reef Rangers: The kids club is available in NSW & QLD public school holidays, approximately $20.00 per session, payable direct (price subject to change).
Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort charters Seair Pacific to provide daily flights from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast), Bundaberg, Gold Coast (Coolangatta) and Brisbane (Redcliffe) to Lady Elliot Island. Jetstar fly direct from Sydney to Hervey Bay/Fraser Coast and QantasLink fly direct to Hervey Bay/Fraser Coast & Bundaberg.

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. It was obvious that management care for and look after their staff as that culture flows thru to your guests. Your staff are real credit to the Gash family and Management. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and competent.
The meals were delicious, and the variety and various dietary requirements catered for was impressive. The only disappointment was the lack of good coffee (bags, plunger or percolated) available with the large variety of teas on offer. Another suggestion for an additional service would be a massage centre.
The constant need to check in with the dive shop re: activities available each day, time of departure etc was tedious. It would have been far more convenient to have these posted on the activities board in the dining precinct and on a sandwich board outside the dive shop or reception.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will certainly be back and will continue to recommend LEI as a holiday destination.
Lady Elliot Island is brilliant. Great Coral, fish and turtles. Easy to access and surprisingly good food for a very low price. No internet and almost no phone coverage perfect. The way we should always holiday.
Not for everyone with basic accommodation, and no internet-phone-television, but for snorkellers and divers an eco-friendly paradise with great staff!
