Proserpine Airport

Proserpine Airport, also known as the Whitsunday Coast Airport, is located approximately 9km south of the Queensland town of Proserpine. Renowned as the gateway to Australia's iconic Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands, the airport is the main facility servicing visitors to the Whitsundays and Airlie Beach. Located on Lascelles Avenue, the airport also offers access to the northern Queensland town of Bowen and recently underwent an upgrade to its passenger terminal. The airport is serviced by a number of iconic Australian air carriers including Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia who all currently only operate flights to Queensland's capital city, Brisbane.

Proserpine Airport is home to a variety of passenger services and facilities including check-in counters, ATMs, visitor information, public telephones, outdoor smoking section, baggage trolleys and public amenities such as toilets and baby changing and parent's rooms as well as access and facilities to cater for disabled travellers. The Proserpine Airport is not to be confused with the Whitsundays Airport which is a smaller aviation facility located on Shute Harbour Road.
