Offering the affordability of a low-cost carrier with all the services of a full-service airline, Virgin Australia is the second largest airline in Australia. Launched in 2000 by Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Australia flights now service 29 Australian cities and 50 destinations worldwide. Airfare types range from domestic (within Australia) to International Short Haul (with South East Asia and the Pacific) and International Long Haul (rest of the world). The Virgin Australia fleet includes Embraer, Fokker and Boeing jets as well as wide bodied Boeing and Airbus jets. Cabin classes range from Economy to Premium Economy and Business Class. Virgin flights are subject to a number of dangerous goods and baggage restrictions.
