This was our 2nd trip to the Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa. This place is awesome, just the right distance from the hustle and bustle of Patong yet close enough to walk to. Breakfast was fantastic and everyday there were some slight changes to the buffet. Would recommned staying her except if you have any mobility issues. There is a significant number of stairs as the resort is built on a hill
Our group of 6 girls stayed in two sea view rooms for about a week.
The view of the ocean was gorgeous from the balcony, and the housekeeping service was impeccable, they did our beds and gave us new water bottles and hygiene products daily.
The breakfast buffet, open 6:30-10:30, was so delicious and had so many options.
They can cook you eggs, and they have western food as well as Thai food.
The ocean view pool is serene and fantastic. Service was great and they provide pool towels at each of the two pools, and beach towels at the lobby.
The staff are mostly very friendly.
The only issue we had was with ordering room service, because of a language barrier, but otherwise everyone was very polite and helpful.
Restaurants around the hotel look wonderful but are a bit pricey as they are intended for tourists, and same goes for massage places.
Hence I would say, do explore around Patong beach as awesome as the hotel is.
In all cases, don't forget anti-diarrhoeals just in case or prevention tablets before meals (my group of friends used Travelan). A few did end up getting ill, but likely not as bad as it could have been, and some managed to avoid it.
Patong beach is only a 5 minute walk and they have a wonderful staff member who helps you cross the road which can get extremely busy at times.
7-eleven is also around 5 minutes from the hotel, and there is a pharmacy too.
In the fruit shop, they cut up your fruit for you, and it is so delicious, highly recommend the pineapple and mango!
And the SHUTTLE! We used it everyday, it takes you from the lobby to your room and vice versa, and saves you the short but steep walk as the hotel is built on a cliff. Remember to say thank you!
Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to everyone.

We absolutely loved everything about the resort and it's facilities. It is definitely best suited for families, couples and overall mature visitors even though we (young adults) still felt very welcomed. The only thing I would recommend as a future adjustment would be to possibly consider getting softer mattresses. Ours were very hard. We would absolutely stay again though! Thank you
Our stay at Diamond Cliff was all that we hoped it would be. The room, service and staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. The spa is situated on a very steep cliff as the name suggests however, the shuttles that run as needed were always there when needed. I hope that I get to stay there again. Thank you Diamond Cliff Spa.

There are shuttles around but there are still stairs when it drops you off! For us in our 70's was very difficult. The pools were very nice and crystal clean.

Absolutely loved staying at Diamond Cliff, the rooms we had were very spacious, I was lucky to have a water view.
2 great pools one with a swim up bar, breakfast was great lots of variety.
Would recommend to everyone, it is very hilly and lots of stairs but if you don't want to walk they have transport going up and down the hill.

Fabulous resort away from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. Staff were excellent, room lovely with super comfy big bed. Could do with having the pools open beyond 7pm and QR drinks/food ordering at Ocean View pool.
We had a lovely week here and dined in a lot as it was raining most evenings. Not all restaurants were open while we were there but he food was great and the staff fabulous. We were a bit slow to realise we had to press the housekeeping button in our room for the room to be serviced so missed out on housekeeping on the first day. There are a lot of steps within the resort so not good for people with knee issues. It is an easy walk to Patong Beach but far enough away to be peaceful.
Great value. Location just out of town but that gives you great views. Beautiful rooms, grounds & people.

We were all sick!! No fault of the Hotel. All staff were brilliant and understanding, the on-site medical clinic staff were awesome throughout.
Breakfast was excellent, evening meals less so, but we're still good. Location was perfect, as was far enough yet close enough from the mega busy tourist strip. Lots of steps but easily managed if you take your time. All up a great location with excellent facilities and very clean

The hotel was wonderful and for people our age (70+) the shuttle buggy was a godsend.
Top service and great value for money. All the staff were a delight. The ocean view room was large and peaceful and serviced daily. Two large pools, one with view of ocean and sea breezes. The food was excellent quality with a large variety to please all tastes and cultures. Several good beach front restaurants just over the road. Transport provided for some destinations and readily available if not included in package deals. I highly recommend this resort.

From the moment we arrived to the time for our airport transfer home the service we received was impeccable. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
We all had ocean view rooms with balconies. All of our rooms were tastefully decorated, plenty of amenities and were serviced daily.
We were traveling as a group of 10 and the Ocean View restaurant staff without us even asking went out of their way to get a table out of storage just to set up somewhere large enough for us all for breakfast on the first morning. On the topic of breakfast, there was a HUGE selection to choose from and all the food was fresh and cooked well.
Both pools were great but our favorite was the Waterfall pool with the swim up bar. The kids loved the water slide.
Yes, it's on a cliff with LOTS of stairs but it's a small sacrifice to pay for the view and overall ambiance of the resort. That said, the staff are more than happy to be driving shuttles up and down the hill to save guests the steep walk.
All said and done, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Diamond Cliff was a wonderful Hotel. The service was amazing. The room was exactly like the photos online. We stayed in the Ocean View Jacuzzi Room. The buffet breakfast is extensive and delicious Patong Beach is a 5 minute walk. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Staff, location and atmosphere was of such high quality standard every step of the way. We were so impressed by the diamond cliff resort. Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Felt so welcomed and looked after.
Spacious room, great facilities, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Didn't need to go to the well-equipped gym - just didn't use the resort shuttle. There are lots of steps (it's called Diamond CLIFF for a reason)! Tip: rather than heading left out of the hotel into the craziness of Patong, turn right to find a quieter strip of bars and restaurants.
Couldn't fault this resort - we had a wonderful time.
There was only one shuttle into town each day and one way only. 4 or 5 return trips each day would have been far better. Staff were all very welcoming. Overall a good place for couples.
Just a short stroll out of Patong Beach and a world away from all the busyness.

We had 10 nights stay in this beautiful resort. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for you.
Hotel staff were lovely and helpful, room had everything we needed inc toilettes, buffet breakfast catered for everyone, within walking distance to the town or a taxi is around 200/300 baht or use the hotel shuttle bus but that only runs twice a day
We had a Ocean View Jacuzzi Suite. it was on the Lower Level it was well stocked every day. If you have Trouble with stairs you still have to climb about 50 stairs up to the Breakfast area and Restraunt and Closest Pool. The Waterfall Pool is the most shaded and has a Swimup Bar and snacks area. Also a waterslide. You can take the shuttle up and back from the Foyer, they drop you off at the side near the kids room and you only have to go down 10 stairs.
Excellent property highlighted by the amazing staff and facilities. Only possible drawback could be the amount of steps to some locations, however this was overcome by the great shuttle service throughout the property.
A special mention to the staff at Waterfall Bar and Ocean View breakfast room on a job well done. As Macarthur once said "I shall return" Thank you

Hotel was absolutely beautiful! In a great location. Right heart Patong beach but away from the business so you get peace and quiet. Best of both words. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was very delightful!
Good location just to the north of the main strip. Nice small beach over the road, or you can choose from 2 pools if you want a swim on the premises. Staff are friendly and service is excellent. Nice big room, with enough space to comfortably have our bags accessible. Would definately stay here again.
Great place to stay but people need to be aware of the number of steps as this resort is built on a hill. We were fine but not good for prams, walkers or wheel chairs. It's got amazing views and sone great places to eat nearby.
I stayed at diamond cliff resort for 8 days, the service at the hotel is phenomenal, each member is so kind greeting us every day, keeping our rooms clean and doing everything in a timely manner. I must give them props as they navigate the amount of tourists that come through there all speaking different languages and they work hard to understand you. The location is just a two-minute walk from Patong or a three min drive to Bangla road. The look of the resort was beautiful, and well kept with a traditional Thailand Look with a modern eye, also an overall tropical feel. On a cliff the resort allows you to see an incredible view of the ocean, there are multiple pools and bars, a very good gym and other services available at your fingertips. The staff are kind and warm-hearted they went above and beyond for us. extremely happy, and would go back again. Good for a young couple wanting to adventure, luxury trip of a single, relaxation of a retired couple or a family with teens.

The only suggestion is for the hotel to have a mud map of the area. Took us a while to locate various places. I guess different to the ol' casual sharing at the counter. Always polite but never gave you more info.
good staff very attentive to your needs, location is a great spot walking distance to Patong & shops plenty of dining options, not too good for older people as it is very hilly and a lot of steps but overall, its pretty good.
We had a really good time at the resort, staff were very friendly, clean and really nice rooms along with really good restaurants onsite.

We had good times in Thailand despite a monsoon period. The resort is in great shape well managed. Food was excellent. Only reservation we had was worn king mattress but its been promptly replaced.

We had a great time and I'd recommend the Diamond Cliff Resort to everyone. The whole facility was awesome from the staff, room, pools food, restaurants, massage, gym, views and the close proximity to the centre of Patong Beach and Bangla Rd, and basically everything else.

Everything was great and clean and we were looked after really well.
The fulltime security was reassuring and traffic control every single time the main road was crossed by anyone out side the venue was also very reassuring.
Wine,lunch and dinners a bit expensive but in saying that,the full,free,always changing buffet was excellent and would see us through the whole day.
Good thing there were a lot of stairs to work off some of the food but again there was always a driven lift up and down before getting to the elevator if required,in a large,open,covered, comfortable ute.
Big room (and bed) and overall great place to stay. There are a lot of stairs but the vehicle that shuttles you from the bottom of the resort to the middle of the resort was good, especially when raining! We loved our stay and first trip to Thailand!

Amazing resort, it is huge!!! Great location, food was great especially the breakfast buffet, pools were always clean and the water slide was a great bonus, overall everything was great! Everyone was so friendly and happy to help. Room was serviced every day and the shuttle bus was never far away to take you up to your room when needed. The resort is so big and there are so many stairs so if you can’t walk much it would be best to ask for a room at the front of the hotel, not up the back. Overall loved this resort, we think it was the best one in Phuket!
They went above what a hotel usually do. Staff were so accommodating of my son (he has autism). If i had a question about eg a sculpture in the lobby above the lights, they went out of their way to find the info. Packed us breakfast for an early morning trip to phi phi island.
Highly recommend Diamond Cliff resort. All the staff were lovely. We had buffet breakfast included and the variety and quality of the food was very satisfying and set us up for the whole day. The pools are well facilitated! Don't let the big hill put you off - the hotel offers a shuttle up and down the hill which came in handy on those really humid days. Gym facilities were very good as well. The location meant that we could feel so separated from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach when it was really just a stone-throw away.
Third time at Diamond Cliff , I would highly recommended this resort , from staff to pool area to dinning , service and overall experience.
No need to leave the premises except to take tours. Everything you need is there. The staff are very customer focussed and ensure you are looked after
Property was absolutely amazing, equally the service and level of professionalism. Staff are super friendly and always willing to help. We were happy with the location as it was far enough away from the busy part of town but not too far to walk. Our only concern was that the grand Jacuzzi suites requires walking up a lot of steps to get ro your room which you do start to get tired of after a few days especially in a high level of humidity.
Would we stay at this property again? ABSOLUTELY!!

The Hotel and the service was excellent and there is nothing to be negative about the stay. However i would like to recommend to train some of the staff more the English Language as it was difficult with ordering a meal.
Excellent hotel, newly renovated. Great personnel and very good ambiance and a breakfast buffet only royalty can dream of, but as the name implies it's a hotel perched on a cliff. If you are fit and and able, this is the hotel for you. If you have trouble managing steps and feel out of breath, then I would suggest another place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and it was well worth the money spent.

As a group of 6, we found this resort to be amazing. With the option of 2 pools, one with a bar. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff very accomdating.Location was great as it isn't in the heart of Patong Beach, only took a 15 min walk to get there.
The only down side was walking up a heaps of steps to get to our rooms. However they have covered this by providing a shuttle service that take you to the top of the resort :)
We also used the gym provided, while it only has the minimum , there is enough to do a good workout.

Great room with a spa. Need to be fit as a lot of stairs. Not great for the elderly as on a steep slope. Breakfast was average. A little far out of Patong as you need to book the shuttle too far in advance. This leaves you open to the Tuk Tuk Mafia and their controlled payment system around Patong. Staff and service were top shelf.
We were very happy with our stay here. It is a beautiful hotel and our rooms were in a very good location close to the larger pool. Our package included breakfast which was lovely - lots of variety - and also transfers to and from the hotel - they were both on time and comfortable. Service was very good - staff pleasant and friendly which was appreciated when you don't speak the local language.

Was great to see all Reno’s on reception and restaurant finished but now need to do the rooms. Poorly laid out and tiny bar fridge that kept nothing cold and asked to have it looked at daily! We were a couple with 1 teenage daughter and had 3 single beds in our room! Couldn’t be changed.
The best hotel that we have stayed at. All the staff were so welcoming and always smiling and polite. The quality of our room was fantastic and we were only a 10 minute walk from a safe and mostly clean beach at Patong Beach. Most days , the beach was providing small surf suitable for both body surfing and board riding.
Our only suggestion to the Diamond Cliff was for them to extend their internal shuttle service to finish at 1am ( not 11.30pm as is the case now ). The property is built on 20 acres of steeply sloping land and the walk from the front of the property to a room near the rear is a difficult climb .In summary, we loved our stay at Diamond Cliff.
Staff were friendly, service was outstanding, Room was impressive. Overall the resort is well looked after clean and tidy, All the staff were friendly and helpful. From the second we stepped into the lobby we knew we were in for a great Holiday.
We stayed here in an upgraded room and it was massive. There are plenty of hills but they do have shuttle buses up to the rooms. Pools are huge and not overrun with people and the food was very delicious. Staff at their resort were fun and very helpful. I would definitely go back to this resort

The accommodation was beautiful. The room was huge. Everything was kept immaculate at the resort and the buffet breakfast was the best we've ever had. There are a few high end restaurant bars across the road that overlook the beach - spectacular. It's a 5-10 minute walk into the main part of Patong. This wasn't a problem for us. The resort also has a LOT of stairs and a very steep hill, which we were ok with as we're pretty young and fit. There is a shuttle that drives up and down the hill all day (as soon as you're waiting for it, a worker will call the driver so it's never more than a minute). If you're older and have bad back or knees, you might struggle with the stairs still though.
I had a wonderful stay at Diamond Cliff with my girlfriends for our 30th birthday. The facilities were great, the staff were very warm and hospitable and breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay there again when I return to Patong. Fantastic Experience! Thanks guys
We loved our stay at Diamond Cliff Resort, from the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful. The rooms were luxurious and the buffet breakfast was amazing, they cater for absolutely everyone. Can not recommend this resort more!
the only thing I was disappointed in is the swimming pools closed at 7pm

Had wonderful stay at the Resort with friendly, helpful staff, a great room, in a good quiet location. Would recommend it to anyone - is close to Patong, they also offer a free shuttle service 4 times a day if you don't want to walk into town. The resort has plenty of stairs, but also offers a free Tuk Tuk up and down the hill to skip the majority of stairs to your room. We had a wonderful time.
We had a jacuzzi suite which was very spacious and well furnished but a little dark. We thought it was a good hotel and enough of the staff had sufficient English. Drawback is that it is spaced out over a very steep hill and it does involve a lot of stair and hill climbing if your room is near the top

Diamond Cliff was stunning. My partner and I had a wonderful holiday here and would definitely return. Our room had a leak after some rain and we were upgraded and moved within a few hours. Lovely people, lovely service, great location. Shuttle service was great.
There were too many kids in the adult pool, room smelled damp, the spa didnt plug up properly, no cold shower water however the pillows and bed were lovely, resort grounds and gym was well maintained and breakfast buffet was delicious.
Beautiful resort, excellent location, views over the bay, lots of steps as it is on a hill side but very efficient on site shuttle to take guests up and down the hill. Food was great but staff often got the orders wrong. Happy hour cocktails good value.

I would highly recommend Diamond Cliff. I would not recommend the resort for elderly people or anyone who is not physically able, as the resort is on a very steep hill. There is a shuttle bus in the resort, however getting to it and getting around the resort could still be a struggle for some.
The staff and service were great. The place was clean and in a fantastic location. Walking distance to the the beach and shopping strip.
The breakfast had variety and was good but not amazing. We did not have lunch or dinner there, however, the prices for lunch and dinner were expensive. Much cheaper to go elsewhere for the same options.

The jacuzzi (bath) spa room was lovely. Shuttle service to rooms was very efficient but still so many stairs! Easy walk (downhill) to beach.
Excellent stay at the diamond cliff resort. Excellent views and location, 5 minutes to Patong beach. Excellent daily buffet breakfast, enough choice for anyone. Staff are amazing and always ready to help. House keeping done for you everyday. If I was to look for anything negative I would say , the place is currently undergoing renovations, ask for a renovated room if you can. We had a non renovated room still nice but would rate the non renovated rooms as a 3 star. Please also note that the resort is on a cliff don’t come here if you have mobility issues as it wont be ideal with stairs and up hill walks to rooms and restaurants.
Fantastic location and great value for the money we paid.
Part of this hotel was undergoing major renovations during our stay however it had no direct impact on our stay.
Although our room was tired and outdated it was extremely comfortable and well set out with everything we required and then some.
The Staff are fantastic and only to willing to assist wherever they can.
Would defiantly recommend this hotel.
This resort will keep you fit. Many, many steps to negotiate your way around the resort. Just going to breakfast is quite a workout, which is just as well, the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Not an easy walk anywhere because of the busy road with no foot paths.
More shuttle service to Patong and including to and from hotel.
Do not go if you have mobility problems. Side of mountain beautiful resort, disappointing restaurant maybe different in the high season . 300bht each way into town. Free shuttle only 4 tines per day from resort which is terrible. Our jacuzzi suite was very large & great ocean views. Some renovations are on at the moment but no noise from where we were. They need lifts!!!!!!!
Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay at the Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa. It is a beautiful place with friendly staff that catered to all our needs. Very close to amazing restaurants on the beach and a 5 minute drive to Bangla Road. Would recommend to anyone getting away to relax and enjoying great views.
People with limited mobility should be cautious booking this property because of the number of stairs and steep pathways. Apart from that issue, it is a great property.
Stayed here for our 2nd time for a week. Family members came along with us and also loved their stay. Rooms lovely and clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast very nice with all foods catering for different nationalities. Pools and grounds kept lovely and staff were very friendly
Lovely place to stay excellent views from room although getting a shuttle bus up an down from room everytime you left can be a pain because hotel is built on steep hill and drink prices are a bit dear.
Overall a very nice hotel. Service at the bottom pool bar was pretty slow regardless of whether there were no other customers or not. Breakfast buffet was amazing and room and overall presentation were high. We loved our stay

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time at Diamond cliff, the rooms, food, pools and service were excellent. When we had food poisoning the staff at the resort were caring and supportive offering their help whenever possible. Will come again!
Loved the view from our room of the ocean. Breakfast was awesome, great selection. Staff were pretty good but didn't, offer a lot of assistance, often drinks and plates left on table during a couple of hours stay. Location was great for us. However I would not like to stay there if I was unable to walk up the numerous stairs.

Staying at Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa was an exceptionally wonderful experience... the staff are wonderful with excellent customer service... the room was large and clean( they came every day to make up your bed , clean room and clean and replace towels in bathroom... anything you wanted was never a problem. The facility has restaurants which are very good . The Location has to be the draw card as it is only 10 mins from the main city where all the action is. I would recommend any body or family to give this place a go when wanting to visit Phuket Thailand.
Location and views were fantastic from our rooms. The staff couldn't do more for us. Always pleasant and welcoming and ensuring and preempting our needs for the day. The site was quite steep, but not unwalkable and there is a car that transports up and down the hill as required. Couldn't speak more highly of the onsite restaurants as well.
Can't speak highly enough of this quality resort.Throughout our entire stay the staff were friendly and eager to ensure that our stay was memorable for all the right reasons. The room was spacious, and very relaxing - a jacuzzi and balcony overlooking one of two great pools, with extensive views out of the Andaman Sea and surrounding area.We had one small drama when a lampshade shorted out, causing us to lose power in the room - just as our room service dinner arrived. Dinner on the balcony by mobile phone light. Power was quickly restored but we continued the romantic moment uninterrupted.The next day when we arrived back to our room after an islands excursion there was a floral bouquet and fresh fruit basket to apologise for our inconvenience. Not necessary, but appreciated.
Definitely would stay at Diamond Cliff again - quality, value, location. It has them all.
A lovely clean resort, but they could improve on a few things.
The meals at the resort weren't that nice. No matter what we did the bathroom would flood every time we showered.
A few times housekeeping would forget to leave towels or toilet paper.
There were no rubbish bins in the public areas of the resort.
The beds were hard.

The shuttle from/to reception was a great idea since the resort is very steep.
Fantastic Thai resort, couldn't fault anything, staff very helpful and very friendly, would definitely go back.
Lovely resort, great pool area. They were renovating so one pool was closed. The shuttles take you into Patong but no return. Also we found 4 o'clock was too early and 8 o'clock was too late. Also, due to change of ownership, the shuttle to Paradise beach is no longer available. Overall, good value, but too far out of Patong for us.
Friendly and helpful staff certainly assisted in making this a most memorable holiday.
Our bonus upgrade to a Diamond Suite was a most pleasing addition.
The Buffet Breakfast was a delightful was to begin each day.
The Beach Hut Restaurant was a little disappointing. The quality of the food did not match the prices charged. However the Thai Orchid Restaurant was very good value for money.
Despite the refurbishment work, which was well fenced off no noise disruption was noticeable. We kept fit by walking up the stairs as it is a hilly property, but the resort runs inside 'shuttle'. We were happy as the staff was polite and provided information and very flexible when we were booking the shuttle to Patong. We would most likely come back.
Close walk to Patong, excellent facilities and service especially the drivers of the internal transport vehicles and "security" staff

This resort has huge rooms, ours had two bathrooms !!!! Very clean and really lovely staff. Its built into a very steep hillside but they have a vehicle driving up and down all day so you dont have to walk if you dont want to. This resort is about a 15 minite walk to patong for restaurants and shopping but doesnt have shops, massages etc right outside your hotel which I prefer. They have a pool and restaurant right across the road on the beach which would have been nice to spend a lot of time there however pool is not in use and hasnt been for sometime which is a shame. The food is very nice however its quite a limited menu, not a huge choice. Both pool areas are beautiful and weel maintained so I would recommend this resort if you dont mind walking and catching tuk tuks everywhere because of not having any shops on the street directly outside.
A great place to stay
a very nice and spacious room although had major electrical problems gave up getting our lights fixed every day so stayed in the dark the last week of our visit.Even though only a short walk to patong it was a very dangerous one , you had to walk on the road until you got to the beach a bit hazardous so basically had to take tuk tuks mainly. Lovely staff and beautiful pool.
The only complaint I have is the beds were so hard. But then we didn't complain so that's on us. We got used to it
We really enjoyed our stay at Diamond Cliff Resort. The staff were very professional and accommodating. The buffet breakfast included in our package was abundant with plenty of variety for everyone and the staff very friendly. The shuttle driver's within the resort were so good. Our room was upgraded to an Ocean view Suite in the Grand Wing as per our package and it was magnificent - very clean and opulent. We felt quite special - thank you. The pool area was fantastic and the water so warm. It had everything from a waterslide to a waterfall - suitable for all ages.
There would be one note I would make is that the resort is on a very steep hill - there is alot of walking to and from the pool and reception and breakfast - lots and lots of stairs to anywhere. It was fine for us but I wouldn't recommend it for people with toddlers and the elderly - access would be really difficult.
The resort is located in a great position just outside of the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach, it is on a cliff side so the onsite buggy is always a help getting to and from your room. Although the rooms are a little outdated and the bed extremely hard, my husband and I had a fantastic time at this resort. The people were all friendly. The restaurants onsite are a little on the expensive side, but there are nearby restaurants that are good value for money. I would recommend this resort to anyone wishing to stay outside the busy area of Patong Beach.
Very good,clean,food good,...only downside it has many stairs,it has a shuttle that goes every minute to take u to your room but there's still stairs.definatly wouldn't go there with a pram,wheelchair or elderly
My girlfriend and I stayed at Diamond Cliff for 6 nights and were certainly not ready to leave. The resort itself is really beautiful, meticulously looked after which is an achievement because this place really is within the cliffs of Patong Beach and is extremely large in size. Our room was well sized, well maintained and nicely air conditioned with beautiful views of the ocean and pool from the balcony.
The facilities are fantastic with the choice of three amazing pools, one of which is across the road from the main section and literally on the edge of the ocean.
The hotel staff are brilliant and are happy to help with anything you need at the drop of a hat.
The buffet breakfast on offer is extremely vast with more than enough options to satisfy your every need.
The only negative about this trip was that I sprained my ankle something shocking a week before the trip which made getting around a little tricky as there are countless stairs and steep hills (a small price to pay for such an amazing place).
Will most definitely be back again.
Excellent service! Rooms are beautifully furnished- old but charming. Great location if you don't want to be in the city but close enough- 15 to 20 min walk. Highly recommend a stay. Good at the hotel was ok but you will find better outside
We had a fantastic stay at the Diamond Cliff. The staff couldn't be anymore helpful. The resort itself was spotless and had everything you could need or want. Most importantly when one of my friends became ill on the day we were due to leave the staff urged us to stay in the room until we were due to be picked up from the airport at 6:30pm. At no extra charge. Nothing was too much to ask. Super friendly and super helpful at all times. The staff all knew our room number and where we were from. And this is a big resort. Very impressed.
Hotel was showing age however the rooms and the grounds are well kept. Happy hours and food combos near the pool areas was a great feature. Not too many people staying at the hotel hence almost no one at dinner or lunch during our six night stay. Most staff speak very little English and communication was difficult at times. Overall we still enjoyed our stay after not being there for six years

Far enough out of patong to get away from hussel but not too far to walk. Loved the tuk tuk available for the hill.
Absolutely friendly and professional staff at the reception. Cardriver was helpful, assiduous and humourously. Also in the Restaurants very friendly staff.
I liked the food so much, especially in the morning. Healthy and delicous.
The Pools are just so inviting to relax and have a drink. Poolstaff is friendly too.
The rooms with spa were very spaciously and clean. The light could be brighter, i felt like in a cave, but causy. The rooms were included not the newest furniture or floor, but this makes it just sympatic and causy. If someone complains about that...... I can't help.
The buildings are well maintained. because of the renovations and noise in one part of the Hotel we had a Special Price. The surrounding with plants and trees is absolutely great. sometimes because of the frogs we felt like in a jungle.

all over I enjoyed to stay in this luxuryhotel very much.
Overall a good place to stay, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are of good quality but require some ongoing maintenance. A good 15 min walk or taxi to the centre of Patong but that suited us.
My husband and I stayed at Diamond Cliff for eight nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are helpful and friendly and we would recommend this resort to anyone
CLEAN ROOM, prompt but not precise service, restaurants not up to local standard and expensive. Pools and grounds clean and well serviced, well located (close but not too close) overall very happy, will and have recommended. (friends going soon)
We travelled with an 8yr old child who LOVED the waterslide and the complimentary buffet breakfasts that were included with our package. We also did a free day trip to Paradise Beach which was fun - apparently the hotel owns this beach. The complimentary massage was probably the best massage I have ever had! We stayed in the Diamond Suite - the rooms are a little tired and in need of a refurb (but still clean and spacious). The Wifi was not good in our room nor at the pool. Overall though, a good value for money deal and the resort is a 'world away' from the poverty, filth and stench of Patong Beach (but the shopping is awesome and everything is very cheap!!).

We were well looked after here, all the staff were proffessional and friendly and we loved that the resort was just a little bit away from town but still walking distance. Beautiful views from the resort and their restaurants had really nice food.
Lots of steps as it's set on a hill. Fabulous main pool with water slide, waterfall and swim up bar. Huge breakfast selection with American, Thai, Japanese and Corean choices. Beach pool a bit tired. Free trip to paradise beach and daily shuttles included.
Diamond Cliff is well located - about a 10-15min walk to the heartbeat of Patong. Close enough to enjoy but far enjoy to hide away. The rooms were fantastic, the staff helpful and the waterfall pool (and swim up bar!) were all excellent. Wouldn't hesitate in booking here again.
