Sunprime Kamala Beach will be undergoing refurbishments in the Grand Deluxe Mountain View and Grand Deluxe Pool view rooms located in Building 7 from 01 June 2026 - 31 July 2026. Works will be carried out between 10am - 5pm and impact to guests is expected to be minimal.

Subprime Kamala - Excellent
This was our first time to Kamala Beach area, and Sunprime resort, so knowing this to be a very large resort (we usually book much smaller resorts) we were a little nervous that it may be a bit busy for us…. We spent ten nights here in June 2026 and cannot fault any aspect of our stay. The staff were awesome and made a genuine effort to make us feel valued and always greeted us with a smile. The food was awesome with a wide variety of options and prices were very reasonable. In fact, we were intending to eat at nearby eateries more often, but ended up eating at the resort most days and nights after the huge breakfast which was included in our accommodation deal.
With four pools to choose from, we never had any issues finding a lounge, some days we were the only people in the pool.
This resort would be too busy for us in the peak period, but as we visited in the shoulder season, it was perfect. Intimate and personal, and we never felt like we were just part of a crowd.
Thank you to all the staff at Sunprime Kamala, and if we come back to Phuket again, we will almost certainly stay here again.

Tropical luxe Adults Only escape
Sunprime Kamala Beach is huge! The staff are gorgeous and can't do enough for you. The onsite restaurant is lovely, clean, has large menu and the wait staff are exceptional, friendly and really take care of their customers. Guests from all over the world with many different languages were handled with great aplomb. The location is ideal, beachfront access, large spectaculars within walking distance, humble markets at your doorstep, convenient shopping including many tailors, massage services and many restaurants nearby. The facilities at the resort are many and varies with huge pools, bars, exercise facilities, library, massage options, doctor, minimart, taxi service and shuttle to name a few. My Phuket Holiday service available for tour booking. The Adult Only ambiance was bliss! (The family style sister resort adjoined Sunprime but there was no intrusion and it was lovely to see the additional options just for kids if you dared take a peek) We had a lovely relaxing holiday THANKYOU!
