Golf
Located on Dent Island, the Hamilton Island Golf Club is the only Australian golf course on its own island and is one of the world's premier golf courses. The 18-hole 71 par course was designed by Peter Thompson, five-time British Open winner. Offering excellent facilities and panoramic views of the Whitsundays, the challenging course is a favourite with recreational and professional golfers alike.
There is also a golf simulator and Mini golf available on Hamilton Island.

Balcony balustrade construction may cause intermittent noise on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, 8:30am to 4:30pm, from 3 March to 13 December 2025. Sails Restaurant and Pool opposite hotel closed for renovations. The hotel and Bougainvillea Pool located near the Hamilton Island Resort Centre will be open to all guests during this time. For snacks and drinks close by, the Beach Pavilion Kiosk is open daily.

A nice break
A really good package deal with breakfast included. Room was a good size and we had a great view. Hamilton Island is a bit pricey for most things, however we were aware of that before we arrived.

A wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed the location of the hotel, the view from our room as well as its large room size, and the incredible breakfasts each morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
