After reading multiple mixed reviews admittedly we were a little apprehensive but as soon as we arrived at the Warwick we knew we were about to have an amazing time. From the greeting to the check in and then our top floor room over the ocean, we were in paradise. We spent days by the pool sipping cocktails, where the kids didn't want to leave, and then days out having adventures. We did two separate snorkelling tours, one with fishing the other with a bbq on an island day. The blue water and coloured fish are like the ones in my dreams. No wonder it's worth going to the coral coast.
To answer more concerns
_yes the bus took two hours BUT we got an air conditioned luxury coach through Rosie's. It was a lovely trip looking out the window, and an eye opener to the simple way Fijians live.
_the food was amazing at all the restaurants at the Warwick we never had a bad meal. Favourite was hard to choose, the adults only Wicked Walu seafood was an incredible experience (friends minded our child); but then so was the rib eye at the steak house, the Japanese was incredible and the Italian was delicious. Kids meals were never complained about. I looked forward to waking to the buffet breaky every morning too. Mm those potato gems.
_cocktails were no issues loved the mango daiquiri
_the people were beautiful they all remembered your name, the staff went above and beyond. They even rang half way through your visit to check you were happy.
_our room was perfect, very clean and fresh, bed was comfy as were the pillows. But we did ask for a renovated room before booking.
We got vouchers through a package and the wine and dine almost paid for all the food and drink for our five night stay. Such good value!!! The massage was booked out unfortunately so my free massage couldn't be used so def hook that before you go! (There are ladies around the beach that did the best foot massage anyway so all was not lost). Shopping trip that was included took you to another Jacks which they have in the resort but good to see the town. Don't bother though if you are short of days. Glass bottom boat was really cool, made you realise you've got to book that snorkelling tour.
All in all we didn't want to leave. We loved the activities from the live music and crab racing hubby even loved the state of origin footy night in the sports theatre. The staff did a traditional dance the night before we left and about ten locals sung in harmony a goodbye song as the sunset. My family all had tears in our eyes. We will definitely be returning, the Warwick has all you need and more.

We had a wonderful stay at the Warwick Hotel. It's about a 2-hour drive from the airport, but the journey was worth it. Our ocean-view room was spacious and came with a lovely balcony—perfect for soaking in the scenery. The only downside was a smell in the bathroom, but aside from that, the room was comfortable and well-appointed.
The staff were incredibly helpful and courteous throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic with a good variety. Be aware that food at the resort is quite expensive, so it's definitely worth considering a credit package or going all-inclusive.
The Wicked Walu restaurant was the highlight of our dining experience. The views, delicious food, and live music created the perfect ambiance. We even spotted baby sharks while having dinner—an unforgettable moment!
Swimming and snorkeling right from the shore was a treat, with plenty of vibrant sea life visible just steps from the beach.
