Plantation Island Resort is set on tropical Malolo Lailai Island, just 16 kilometres offshore west from Nadi. Utilising 23 acres of this island paradise, Plantation Island Resort lies on a pristine stretch of beach fronting the lagoon and surrounded by exotic gardens.
Accommodation at Plantation Island Resort varies from well-appointed hotel style rooms to traditional Fijian bures. With something for every budget, the resort caters for family holidays as well as romantic getaways, from the 2 Bedroom Garden Bure to the Beachfront Bure.
Plantation Island Resort has no shortage of onsite facilities with four swimming pools, restaurants, cultural and craft demonstrations, a 9-hole golf course, beauty salon and a kids club. With a myriad of ways to spend your time in Fiji, the resort also offers complimentary snorkelling, kayaking, tennis as well as Fijian cooking lessons, coconut leaf basket weaving lessons and native medicine tours. For an additional fee you can also experience scuba diving, surfing, island hopping, wake boarding, water skiing and village tours.

Poolside Room
Features pool views and located just steps away from the Ocean Pool. Room size is 54m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & 1 Child. A rollaway bed is permitted if required, at an additional cost.
Garden Room
Features garden views and nestled in a quieter area of the resort. Room size is 54m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & 1 Child. A rollaway bed is permitted if required, at an additional cost.
Studio Garden Bure
A spacious duplex bure which is surrounded by tropical gardens and within easy access to all resort facilities. Room size is 39m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & 1 Child. A rollaway bed is permitted if required, at an additional cost.
Beachfront Hotel Room
Located footsteps from the ocean and feature beautiful views of Malolo Lailai Bay from the balcony. This is a good choice room for small families. Room size is 37m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Sofa Beds. A cot can be placed into the room. Extra beds cannot be put into this room type. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults & 1 Child OR 2 Adults & 2 Children.
2 Bedroom Garden Bure
Features two separate bedrooms and garden views. Room size is 72m². Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Beds + 2 Single Sofa Beds. Maximum room capacity is 6 Adults & Children. A rollaway bed is permitted if required, at an additional cost.
Beachfront Bure
Features a stunning beachfront location. Room size is 49m². Bedding is 1 King Bed + 2 Single Beds + 1 Single Sofa Bed. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & 1 Child. A rollaway bed is permitted if required, at an additional cost.
Dining
Plantation Island Resort offers a wide variety of dining experiences including beachside buffets, casual home-style Fijian cooking, fresh seafood and barbequed meats.
Copra Restaurant & Brigham Bar: This beachside restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily offering buffet style breakfast and dinner in a casual setting. A casual snack-lunch menu is also available during the day. The Copra Restaurant is a great place to dine throughout the day and into the evening with family and friends. During times of high occupancy, a Fiji Fusion menu will be available.
Tavola Restaurant & Bar: This all-day dining outlet features a Fijian thatched roof with open air spaces and with flavours of the Pacific. The a la carte menu highlights Pacific Rim cuisine.
Black Coral Grill: An a la carte menu is available for dinner featuring char grill proteins. If you prefer you can cook your own meat to your liking on hot volcanic stone.
Coco Hut & Coco Lailai: Start your morning or grab a pick me up in the afternoon, enjoy fresh juice, coffees, frappes and even fresh coconuts!
Bowl: Features fresh, fast and tasty poke style bowls, great for a healthy lunch or takeaway option.
Ocean Bar: Located next to the Ocean Pool and Poolside Rooms, here you can grab snack foods and cool drinks.

On offer are a range of PADI diving courses for beginners right through to advanced divers. There are a number of safe diving locations within a short boat ride of Plantation Island Resort in warm waters with great visibility right down to 25 metres.

Central facilities development, set to begin in April 2025 and conclude in December 2026. The new development will take place in the volleyball court area behind the snack bar. Work will take place 8am-5pm daily and will be conducted away from the rooms with noise kept to a minimum. All facilities and services will remain operational.
