Tropica Island Resort is located on Malolo Island, the largest island in the Mamanuca Group. Just 25 km from Nadi, the resort sits among the tropical lagoon formed between the Great Sea Reef and the mainland. Beachfront Bure
Absolute beachfront location within metres from the water. Traditional open plan style with high ceilings. Features private balcony with romantic swing seat overlooking the ocean. Size is 60m². Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults. This room type is available for travel until 31 March 2026.
Beachfront Pool Bure
Absolute beachfront location within metres from the water. Features own private plunge pool with infinity edge. Traditional open plan style with high ceilings. Also features private balcony with romantic swing seat overlooking the ocean. Size is 70m². Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.
Deluxe Pool Bure
There are just two Deluxe Pool Bures available on the Island featuring a private verandah and an amazing infinity edge pool. These bures are located in an elevated position to take advantage of views across the Pacific Ocean. Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults valid to travel until 31 March 2026. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults valid for travel from 1 April 2026.
Dining
Lakalaka Restaurant and Bar: Tropica Island Resort offers a poolside restaurant and bar serving the freshest local dishes, international cuisine and themed buffets. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining options.
Lakomai Bar: Located on the water's edge this popular spot has a vibrant night life that keeps guests entertained until the early hours of the morning. Serving snacks including a mouth watering Tapas and Antipasto menu, and all your favourite drinks the Lakomai Bar is a great place to end the day viewing the sunset.
Private Dining experiences can also be arranged. The chefs will cater for special dietary needs as well.

Matanivanua Service: Providing services such as personal meet and greet on arrival and in-room check-in, a private Tropica Island Resort orientation tour, assistance with booking all resort activities, spa services and private dining and any other assistance that may be required. This concierge service is exclusive to the Beachfront Pool Bure and Deluxe Pool Bure guests for travel until 31 March 2026 and valid for all guests for travel from 1 April 2026.

5 night stay
We had a great relaxing time here. The staff were amazing! They all remembered our names, even people we never met knew our names. It was my sisters 40th birthday and on her day they sneakily decorated her bed with flowers and a towel cake. Everyone we ran in to said happy birthday to her. And the singing when they brought out the birthday cake was fantastic! The room was great, the pool was great, the restaurant by the pool was great…except for the dinner menu. Not enough variety and there was nothing on it that I would eat.
