There are 17 Studios in total, located over 3 levels with 6 on the ground floor, 6 on the first floor and 5 Deluxe Studios located on the top floor. Each Studio features stunning ocean views, mini kitchenette facilities and a private balcony or patio.

Beachfront Studio
Located on the ground and 1st floor. Room Size is 40m². Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed OR 3 Single Beds. Interconnecting rooms are available on request. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults & Children. Interconnecting rooms are available on request.
Deluxe Beachfront Studio
These rooms occupy the top floor of the hotel and offer stunning panoramic views of the white sand beach and sparkling lagoon from your private balcony. Room size is 49m². Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults. (Adults only 18yrs+ in this room type).

Moana Restaurant: Extending a friendly atmosphere with a casual dining menu featuring cocktails, modern cuisine and delicious seafood. Enjoy al fresco dining with spectacular beach and lagoon views for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Laguna Restaurant & Bar: Located at the adults only Moana Sands Lagoon Resort this contemporary restaurant offers a range of Polynesian influenced cuisine and beverages.

Diving
There is a variety of marine life in the lagoon offering great snorkelling. Dive adventures can be booked directly with the resort.

Hibiscus Spa: Located at the Taikura shops adjacent to the Moana Sands Villas & Apartments, the spa provides a range of relaxing treatments, manicures, pedicures and more.
Golf
There are only two golf courses in the Cook Islands, one in Aitutaki right beside the airport and the other in Raratonga on the West Coast. Considered some of the most picturesque courses in the world, these are both 9 hole courses and are just a few minutes from most resorts and accommodation.

Beautiful Beachfront Stay with breathtaking Views
We had a wonderful stay at Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel in the Cook Islands. Our room was right on the beach, and the views over the water were simply stunning—waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning was a dream.
Although this is the oldest of the three Moana Sands properties, we found our room and bathroom to be spotless and well-maintained. It had everything we needed and felt more than adequate for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
The location is incredibly convenient—right on the main road with the local bus stopping just out front, which made getting around the island a breeze.
If I had to mention one downside, it would be the food. As a bit of a fussy eater, I found the menu a little restrictive, so I'd personally rate the dining experience 4 stars. That said, others might find it perfectly fine, and there are also other dining options nearby.
Overall, the setting, cleanliness, and convenience far outweighed any minor issues. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Rarotonga in a peaceful, beachfront setting!

Great for snorkeling
I really enjoyed this accommodation. The food was either good or really good. Staff are lovely. Its a great spot to snorkel straight out the front of the property. All rooms have a view of the water, which is excellent. I stayed in the deluxe studio on the top floor. Plenty of space and comfort

Great overnight stop
Was just for an overnight stop and the hotel was great value for money. The location was stunning and the dining excellent.
We will be back for a longer stay.
