Rooms are slightly larger than the Garden View Rooms, and are located in a quiet, tropical setting fairly close to the beach. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed OR 3 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults OR 2 Adults & 2 Children.
Lagoon View Room
Set only metres from the water's edge overlooking the white sand beach and blue lagoon or pool and lagoon. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed OR 3 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults OR 2 Adults & 2 Children.
Beachfront
Located just metres from the water's edge, these spacious suites are spread out over a 3 story complex with great views of the white sand beach, lagoon and coral reef. Features an ensuite bathroom with spa bath and separate shower, as well as a private balcony. Some of these rooms offer disabled access. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed + 1 Single Bed. 3 Bedroom Garden Villa
Located in the tropical gardens, these self contained apartments feature full cooking facilities, dining table and chairs, sofa, fridge, washing machine and two private bathrooms. Some of these villas offer disabled access. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 1 Queen Bed + 2 Single Beds OR 6 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 6 Adults & Children.
3 Bedroom Beachfront Villa

Dining
The Brasserie: Located right on the water's edge overlooking the pool and the lagoon, the all day menu features a variety of dishes with an emphasis on fresh local produce. Open daily for breakfast, and all day dining from 11.30am - 9.30pm.
Mal's Bar: Situated in the pool area overlooking the beach and lagoon, Mal's Bar is a great place to strike up a conversation with fellow guests and Cook Islands staff. The bar opens at 10.00am and closes at midnight (later on Friday nights if requested) and serves an extensive selection of fine Australian and New Zealand wines, local and imported beers and spirits.
The Spaghetti House: Open daily for dinner, the Spaghetti House is the most popular place on Rarotonga for pizza, pasta and other authentic Italian cuisine. Casual dining in air-conditioned comfort, the Spaghetti House is perfect for a light meal or a relaxing dinner.

Coconut Kids Club: Operates Monday to Saturday where children can discover Cook Islands culture while participating in fun games and activities organised by the resort's experienced team. Children under 4 years require adult supervision.

Infants: Portable cots are available free of charge on request. A cot can be added to the maximum occupancy for an infant under the age of 2 years in the Beachfront Rooms and 3 Bedroom Beachfront Villas. Additional cots cannot be added to the maximum occupancy in Garden, Garden Superior, Lagoon View rooms.
Interconnecting Rooms: Available in Garden, Garden Superior, Lagoon View rooms, must be requested at time of booking, cannot be guaranteed until check-in.

It was perfect!
Myself and my partner stayed at the Edgewater for 8 days. We were so happy with everything, it was such a perfect place for us.
They provided everything you need, beach towels, snorkelling gear and reef shoes. The snorkelling outside the resort is a must do!
Service was amazing, we would come back to our room everyday to freshly changed towels and top ups of tea, coffee, shampoos etc.
The restaurant was amazing and would highly recommend going there. Spaghetti house was just as good.
Overall we were so happy with our stay and loved every minute ☺️

Fantastic holiday
Paradisical location. Warm and friendly, welcoming people. Car and scooter hire and laundry on premises. Stunning beaches. People at Edgewater go out of their way to help out.

Edgewater resort
We found the Edgewater Resort a little run down. It was clean & the majority of the staff welcoming & helpful.The location is good however much preferred Muri Beach side. Safer to swim & more restaurants within walking distance.
When we made the booking we were also not advised about the pool renovations so we had no pool which would have come in very handy.
The meals were mostly good but they need to change it up a bit too.
The locals are lovely
