De Vins Sky review

Great hotel central location to bars,clubs,cocktail bars,shops and great restaurants. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from checking in to bar & restaurant staff. The room are big and clean and we upgraded to a room with a spa on the balcony which is recommended for extra $20 per day. Will be coming back soon.

Good Value and Location for Local Culture Immersion

Great helpful and friendly staff. Value for money is good. A few things to be polished by the Hotel which would make the stay a better experience, such as ensuring all bathroom supplies are resupplied daily, ensuring the room is fully cleaned. We paid for the upgraded Whirlpool suite but the water to the spa did not get hot or even warm, so we were unable to utilise the paid upgrade over the 7 day stay at the hotel. I like the location as it is a short walk to local traders and shops, but a little far from the beach. The hotel does offer a great shuttle service to the beach, but it is a one-way trip leaving you to find your own return solution. Restaurant is good value but staff got our orders wrong far too frequently, so would suggest additional staff training to all service staff as this would be the easiest way of delivering a better customer experience. Certainly a 3-4 star hotel experience at the moment, but a little improvement would easily lift to a 4-5 star experience. With the current level of service, cleanliness, and pricing, I probably would not return for another stay. I did enjoy our stay overall, but generally stay in nicer accommodation when I travel.

Great location - staff and food amazing!

Positives:
Comfy bed and pillows
All staff were absolutely lovely. Especially Oka who remembered our names
Convenient shuttle bus to Seminyak Square
Food was amazing - couldn't fault it. Ask for bacon to accompany your freshly made eggs.
Rooftop dining -what a beautiful view to look at each morning!
Infinity pool awesome.
Fantastic location - a 1-minute walk to main street.

Negatives:
Late check-out arranged and paid for but was locked out of our room and had to go to reception (in my swimmers!) to re-gain entry. Nothing was mentioned at payment to say we would need to have our room key reset so that was a little frustrating.
Air-con was leaking - maintenance came out twice and it was still leaking when we checked-out.
Weird location for bottle opener. On the wall in the bathroom!!
Basic TV service - not smart TVs. No access to log into our Netflix/Amazon/Paramount accounts etc.
Late room changes. Seemed to be at 4pm in the afternoon?! We always put out light on to ensure they changed towels and provided more toilet paper (small rolls).
