Getting to Swan Hill

Situated on the borders of New South Wales and Victoria, getting to Swan Hill is easy from a number of departure points. Located just over 4 hours northwest of Melbourne, a number of main highways intersect in Swan Hill. The Murray Valley Highway travels from Melbourne via Echuca and Mildura while the Calder and Sunraysia Highways travel from Melbourne via Ballarat. Swan Hill is also well serviced by buses and trains. A local bus services operates within the town and its surrounds six days a week while there are also two daily bus and train services between Melbourne and Swan Hill and a daily bus and/or train service between Swan Hill, Bendigo, Sydney and Adelaide.
