This famous experience has been enjoyed for over two decades, with guests able to engage in close wildlife encounters with the birds and koalas. Combining nature, a scrumptous breakfast and personal connections with both animals and the dedicated keepers, the Breakfast with the Birds is a must-do!
Another optional experience is the Swim with the Salties! This is not for the faint of heart as you're sure to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush! Swim with the Salties is the only one of it`s kind in Queensland, where you can swim centimetres from these enormous saltwater crocodiles, getting a real sense of their sheer power, size and prehistoric features.
With general admission offering a 5-day re-entry pass, you can keep coming back to Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas for more fun and adventure with the amazing animals that call this North Queensland park home.
Breakfast with the Birds: This iconic exclusive dining experience is a must-do for your next visit to Port Douglas. Located at the Curlew Cafe, you'll be able to get close to the birds and koalas, while chatting with the keepers. Breakfast includes eggs of the day, tropical antipasto, grilled specialties, baked goods and teas and coffee.
Swim with the Salties: Perfect for the those seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush, this experience is not for the faint of heart! Swim just centimetres from the giant reptiles at CrocArena, marveling at their sheer power and size. Minimum age is 12 years.
Day Admission: Open daily 8.00am - 4.00pm. Closed Christmas Day 25 December.
Breakfast with the Birds: Check in at park admission by 7.45am. Experience is from 8.00am - 9.00am.
Swim with the Salties: Daily at 10.00am, 10.45am, 11.30am, 12.45pm and 1.30pm.
Children: 0-3 years are free admission. 4-14 years are charged the child rate. Minimum 12 years for the Swim with the Salties optional extra.
