Day Spa
Tamanu Spa: The perfect place to relax and enjoy a range of massages, treatments and products. Tamanu Spa is set right on the water's edge and is open daily 9am to 5pm.

Room Policy: 0 - 11 years
Kokonas Kids Club: Kids aged 3-12 years will love the spending time in the Kids Club. Trained staff will care for your children Monday to Saturday between 9.30am to 3.30pm. Full day or half day program options are available. A fee applies, which is payable direct.

Lovely boutique hotel experience
I stayed at Tamanu in a lovely beachfront villa near the main hotel complex. The room was very well decorated in island style, with fresh flowers every day and a lovely outdoor bathroom (still quite private). The hotel was excellent, especially all the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is wide and very nice but it is not a swimming beach. There is a wide, flat, rock and coral shelf from the shore to about 50m out that makes swimming problematic. This did not detract from my holiday as I really wanted a relaxing and carefree time and there was a swimming pool directly behind my villa. The menu at the restaurant was extensive and the serves were generous. Other highlights of the trip were a small earthquake (typical on the Ring or Fire) and a full day excursion to local villages and an island where we could snorkel over beautiful coral reefs and explore a sunken plane that ditched nearby. I would definitely recommend Tamanu as a relaxing or romantic holiday destination.

Relaxing week
Love the place and people. Weather was a bit windy and overcast but overall it was a relaxing place and would happily stay there again.
