Orchid Resort Phuket
Hotel was in a central location in Karon, only a short trip to Kata. Plenty of massage places within 50m of the hotel.
Report has 3 pools with 2 all-access and 1 private pool which was great for those who had pool access rooms.

Rooms were clean and really comfortable, food was great and gardens and pool amazing!

Happy overall but could do with some upgrades
We were happy overall with our experience. The service was good and staff were friendly and happy to help. The rooms were clean and well serviced daily. We enjoyed having the pool access rooms as we preferred to our own space rather than sitting amongst the other tourists. We may not have enjoyed our stay as much if staying in a general room.
You could see gardens were maintained thought the hotel is looking a little tired and could do with a few upgrades If wanting to move to a 4 star level of rating. I'd also suggest upgrading the key access on rooms as they still use keys to enter the room. This meant that if one family member took the key, no one else could enter the room until they got back. We worked around it though.
Would recommend for families, my kids loves the water slides. The attendant had good control managing the water slides so this was great to see.
