Secana Beachtown Sep 2026
Secana was good but a few tips for all,
Positives - Breakfast and staff were fantastic!!!!!
Negatives - A little out of the way and transport was cheap but took a long time to get to other restaurants etc.
We stayed in a 3 bed villa with our 2 adult children and teenage grandchildren, great ground floor , kitchen great and plunge pool. However the stairs to bedrooms were very challenging for us over 65's we were going to stay on the highest floor but upon arriving realized this was not going to be a great option for us grandparents, so stayed on the second floor which was also challenging with winding and steep staircase with no handrails... in fact there were no handrails at all in this establishment from the front entrance to the rooftop pool , where in fact my husband lost his footing at the roof top pool while trying to help me down the stairs from the rooftop pool and I sustained a knee injury and finger injury trying to hold onto him ( I am not that old or infirmed and there was no alcohol involved) so reported to staff. So in summary not for mature adults who may struggle with stairs etc

Clean comfortable stay, would stay here again!
We stayed in a 3BDR villa with a private plunge pool. The villa was clean, comfortable and we very much enjoyed our stay. The villa had a water filter so this meant we didn't need bottles of water, although some are provided daily. Dining options were delicious, we couldn't fault the service or food at Beachtown Grocer which is onsite or the Rooftop restaurant. The woodfire pizzas are so good!
Hubby is a keen gym goer and was very impressed with the gym facilities in particular the ice bath.
Location wise, short 1 min walk to the beach, and about a 10min walk to shops & big supermarket. There is a free Grab shuttle just outside the resort that runs in a loop every 20 mins which offers a drop off/pick up service. That came in handy with the kids and beating the heat!
The only (small) negative is that there isn't much for kids although my kids just spent hours in the pool, and they were fine with that. Some boardgames or garden games would be good to keep the kids busy/entertained.
