TravelOnline is proud to announce that we have been named Travel Agent of the Year and Hotel Reservations Service of the Year in the 2nd annual ProductReview.com.au Awards. Hailed as Australia's first and most comprehensive consumer opinion site, ProductReview provides a platform for people to rate and review products and services and the businesses that sell them.
Following the success of its inaugural season in 2016, the 2017 ProductReview Awards featured 65,000 participating listings and received over 700 eligible nominations. Analysing 110,000 reviews the consumer opinion site named 103 award winning products and services across 73 categories, representing the best and most reliable purchasing choices in Australia in 2017 and 2018.
TravelOnline is very proud to be among them, taking out top honours in both the Travel Agent category and the Hotel Reservations Service category. TravelOnline CEO Glenn Checkley couldn’t be more pleased with the win, proud to see an Australian business topping the honours ahead of some of the bigger international brands.

ProductReview spokesman Chris Perrine said that this year the number one trend that emerged was an increase in consumers using reviews throughout their buying journey.
“Whether at the beginning, middle or end, the number one trend we’re seeing come through is consumers increasingly using reviews in the buying journey.
“Number two, the companies that have that direct relationship with the customer, e-commerce companies or anyone operating online or selling direct, they [are able to quickly] make changes based on feedback” he said.

The ProductReview Awards is an annual award initiative designed to highlight products and services that are the most highly regarded by the ProductReview community. The awards are based on analysis of more than 110,000 reviews posted in the past 12 months covering 60,000 listings across insurance, finance, services, appliances, electronics, shops and travel. The awards are conducted and judged independently and impartially by ProductReview's Editorial and Data Team, and awards cannot be bought or influenced by commercial relationships.
