An ideal way to appreciate the true beauty of the Whitsundays, Ocean Rafting allows you to spend more time exploring an amazing range of beautiful islands, snorkel the crystal waters and visit iconic Whitehaven Beach. Ocean Rafting is the only operator in the Whitsundays with a permit to land you right on the beach at Hill Inlet. This means more time to swim, snorkel and explore.
There are two distinct tours available with Ocean Rafting including Northern Exposure and the Southern Lights and these marine safaris offer a great blend of adventure and relaxation. The Ocean Rafting vessels are environmentally friendly and despite reaching a cruising speed of over 30 knots, their unique design reduces fuel usage ensuring the Whitsunday Islands remain beautiful.
Northern Exposure: A favourite with snorkellers, this tour is the only Whitsundays experience which offers two different snorkelling destinations. It also includes a visit to the north end of stunning Whitehaven Beach in the restricted but stunning area of Hill Inlet and a guided walk through the National Park to the lookout. This tour offers more snorkelling time.
Southern Lights: Exploring the north and south ends of Whitehaven Beach, this tour offers two hours of bliss relaxing on the soft white sand before a guided walk takes you to the breathtaking views of the Whitsunday's crystal waters and Pentecost Island from the lookout. Snorkel beautiful Dumbell Island, Border Island or a 'secret' snorkelling spot and marvel at the amazing colourful hard and soft fringing coral reefs. This tour offers plenty of beach time.
