We loved our stay at Tambua Sands. The upkeep of the rooms and grounds are immaculate. The staff are so friendly and no request was too much for them. Beautiful view from the ocean view cabins. Great snorkelling right off the sandy beach at high tide. Great good value meals. Tasty continental breakfast. Wonderful local tours operated by guides from the village next to the resort. We will definitely be back!!!
Beautiful, relaxing boutique resort on the waterfront. .Staff are excellent. Bures are well appointed. Dining is first rate. Plenty of variety.
Only.complaint..alcohol is expensive.
If you want pure serenity and relaxation, this is the place to stay. Lovely villa (No 2) inside and out and the view from it was beautiful!
I found Tambua Sands to be so very beautiful. The grounds are immaculately kept, the staff very friendly and obliging and everything so clean. The food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. The welcoming, smiling staff really made our stay a joy and we felt personally looked after. The room was very basic but certainly adequate for our needs. No noise, hustle and bustle of the big resorts.
Positives- room size, metres from beach, great pool and facilities, awesome red snapper and chips, lovely staff, and book with skellies for tours with people from local village "weissman" was great on hot springs trek.
Negatives- can't boil an egg to save their life.
All considered, this was a good location for a restful break, beautiful water location , clean rooms, good restaurant and bar. For me, I'd give it 5/5
If you want 5 star location on a 3 star budget this is perfect. Basic rooms but clean and right on the beach. Staff great. Reccommend for families, backpackers, couples who don't need fancy resort facilities.
Fantastic resort for couples, very quiet, secluded and small resort. Very friendly staff and great service. Manager friendly and accessible. The food was very tasty, cooked exceptionally well, serving good just a little on the pricey side. great resort will visit again for sure.
