We were a group of 5 friends having our annual getaway. It is a bit of a drive to the resort from the airport which in turn makes it a bit isolated if you want to do activities outside the resort, it takes approx 2 hrs to from the airport if your driver obeys the speed limit (a lot of drivers weren't).
The staff were all lovely and always very attentive. Fijian people in general are very polite, respectful and caring, which is exactly what we found all the staff to be.
The adults only restaurant "Talei" is a must. They have a small local band that play music through the night and it is quite an experience, the lead singer has an incredibly voice and it is so very relaxing to sit back and listen to. The "Bamboo Terrace" (Chinese dining) restaurant is also very good a must try, you do need to book a head for both of these.
It was the perfect holiday for us as we relaxed, enjoyed some treatments at the Joy Spa (Naviti's on site Day Spa), had a paddle on the water in the canoes, did a bit of swimming, reading and socialising. We all came away feeling very relaxed.
It is a shame it is such a drive from the airport, this is the only downside. Also, if you are after white sandy beaches unfortunately you will not have that here as you are on a Lagoon which is only full at high tide. To experience beautiful white sandy beaches you really need to go out to the islands.
