We found it very relaxing it was good if you don't want the Hussel and Bussel of Bali.
The food was great the drinks were over priced but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Just great No complaints

Went with my partner & two teenage children. We had a great stay & thoroughly enjoyed it. Rooms were a great size, we had an interconnecting room so we had our own space as did the teenagers. Meals were a little on the expensive side but you expect that when eating in the resort. Buffet breakfast was great, all staff extremely polite, resort immaculately clean & tidy, would certainly go back & recommend.

A beautiful resort, we selected this one for its Balinese architecture so it still felt like Bali. Some resorts in Nusa Dua could really be anywhere in the world and we wanted to feel like we were in Bali still. Palace club was a special experience, lots of perks, access to lagoon pool directly from room was awesome! Great facilities, nice beach, nice pools, good restaurants on site.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa but first time in the Palace Club section
Nusa Dua is a bit isolated from the Amin shopping and nightlife areas of Bali but is ideal for those wanting peace and quiet plus a fantastic beach area. There are still places for dining outsider the resort but you just have to walk a little or hire a taxi for a low cost ( always ask for a Bluebird Taxi with the meter on).
The hotel is large and lovely. It was the first in the Nusa Dua area and is showing a bit of its age (a few maintenance needs). But rooms are nice with the old wood panelling style and good bathrooms. Rooms are dark but what do you expect in a warm climate.
The palace club area is great. Personalised service for breakfast and all other services. We tried breakfast in the main area once in our 12 night stay but went immediately back to the Palace club area after that.
Afternoon tea from 3-5pm each day with coffee/tea and canapés was always welcomed and the 5.30-7pm cocktails and other drinks was even more welcoming. I was able to to enjoy my scotch on the rocks regularly. You were always able to get other drinks from 11-11 each day and a cold mineral water was always welcome after a long walk or ride.
But the best part of the Hotel was the staff. They were so welcoming and friendly. And particularly in the Palace Club. It was a delight to talk and interact with them.
We spoke with the new manager one day (Pierrick) when he came to the club and he was very positive about the hotel for which we cannot blame him. I did agree with him about many of the unfair criticisms of the hotel.
We spent most of our time on the beach and in the pool. We stayed under the lovely trees on the beach with their delightful canopy of branches through which many little plantain squirrels scampered. Very relaxing and pleasant and the best area in Nusa Dua by far as we used to see many Sofitel customers try to use the facilities.
It was a delight to return to the hotel again and if we do come back it will definitely be to the Palace Club section. Staff such as Nicholas, Supi, Wardana, Yuni and Ayu just to name a few are a delight and seemed proud of working in the area.

I would recommend this resort to friends and family it was 100% amazing and just so relaxing and the staff were amazing

The best holiday I've ever had. Filled with kind people,and exciting and beautiful nature. I felt so very safe , and so well cared for. BIG THANK YOU to lovely Rena for organising my days out (drivers and park entries etc) and also lovely Veronica at the concierge desk who was so wonderful to me.

There couldn't be a more eclectic group among which the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel reins as our favourite. It's combination of exceptional attention to detail and the cultural significance and decor presents a beautiful environment. Added to that is a great and attentive staff which combines for a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back!

This is my second time staying at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel.The first was 22 years ago for my honeymoon and we decided to return with our 2 teenage kids.The facility has been well maintained and the service from all the staff was faultless.They were kind enough to provide water refills in the foyer, but it would have been better if it was chilled not warm.
The pool area barman Anggara was the nicest man in Bali and he made the best cocktails by far.I would definitely go back again.Also the breakfast served was very good.

I would recommend this place to all great staff and very friendly just love all that nusa dua hotel offers

Rooms a little old but reasonable. Food expensive but lovely

A beautiful and luxurious hotel on a a spectacular property with everything you need. Staff were lovely and very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though the bathrooms a little pokey and small. Ground floor “balconies” not that private.

Fantastic hotel. Here and there we could notice that some renewing, updating are necessary. However fantastic Bali feel to the hotel.

Fantastic location for families with tranquil gardens and Balinese monuments within the resort.

Facilites first class. Rooms a bit rundown and very basic furnishings (old tv, drawers, wardrobe)
Good breakfast with good variety. Lunch and dinner options however were disappointing and overpriced. Did not have the chance to try Raja that has great reviews. The personnel and service were the best. Friendly and very accommodating. The theme night on Wednesday also was a winner and the meal the best we had at the resort.

As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we were taking care of quite well. upgraded to the ocean view room, flowers and champagne on arrival and just wonderful smiles and friendly atmosphere. Spa was so beautiful and relaxing.. have to go there again. Sophie helped us a lot as well throughout our stay. she is a gem :) This is one trip that I was reluctant to come back home .. definitely will go back again and again.

Location is excellent and staff wonderful and friendly. Rooms (deluxe) Definately not 5star and bathrooms very small. Resort itself is lovely and very Balinese in appearance. Pool deck very slippery when wet and a slipping hazard. Food/drink expensive and had to book restaurants at resort or missed out. Room seevice cheaper than restaurants and not all restaurants were open all the time (very strange as resort very busy). More information about local atea would have been helpful in rooms
Overall a very pleasant trip but a bit too exoensive

Excellent location away from congestion of Kuta etc. We traveled with two kids (14 and 10) - great pool and breakfast buffet. Beach is fine and best along that strip. Staff were very friendly and assisted with pleasure. Nearby Bali Collection has a variety of restaurants and supermarket. Would go back for sure. Only downside is hotel allows guests to reserve seats around pool which is done by 7am - even though they come and go during the day.... (first world problems I know....).

We had a fantastic stay here,the room, and location were perfect. We got really spoiled, great service. We had one dinner at the Tamarind Restaurant overlooking the beach. Chef Widi cooked me the best Rack of Lamb that i have tasted in years, thanks to everyone for making our stay so pleasant. Please let us know if this promotion happens again, as we would like to stay longer.

We had a lovely relaxing time away in nusa dua. The room was comfortable, good view of the pool. Facilities were clean, kids enjoyed the kids club. Walking distance to nearby markets and good cheap restaurants.

Overall a good holiday. The staff were friendly. The facilities could have been better priced and the restaurants should have more variety in particular for lunch.

We spent a Lovey time in this hotel. Hotel crew were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great . Restaurants were great. Hotel landscape and area was so beautiful and clean. Just the rooms isn’t for 5 stars hotel . Needs to renovate. Also outside the pools , the tiles was so slippery, needs to put something to fix it. I think hotel area needs to have a light music playing from morning to night for guests to not hear cuting grass and ....

It was very comfortable clean and friendly place to stay. We were looked after in everyway.
Beach right there, with the swimming pools. Food was very fresh and tasty. Great people great place.

All food must be halal certified! No bacon at the buffet breakfast! No ham on pizzas! I thought Bali was mainly Hindu??

We have visited this resort twice ..everything about it is fantastic the grounds ..the balinese feel of the hotel the staff are all so beautiful and courteous the only main critisism is apart from breakfast which is always great the other eating options are not good compared to competing properties however i would still recommend staying here as the other resorts are all too western and could be anywhere

Nusa Dua is so beautiful. The resort was great. Pools were good. Lots of kids at the resort but none of the restaurants at the resort catered for the endless snacks that kids require. Would be great if you could order smaller snacks. The electricity in the room was a bit tricky also. Overall a great resort in a perfect location

Great resort , room was was clean and well maintained everyday, service and food were very good. Plenty of activities to keep you busy when you get sick of laying around the pool. Would recommend for families and couples.

ideal for familes and couples although a older resort still very nice . being a gated community and well serviced by security we felt very safe thourougly recomend to stay

we love nusa dua and have stayed at a few, as we try a different one all the time but will not bother now ,we will stay at the nusa dua beach resort any time .best trip ever

Excellent location right onto beach.Pools are great.Shuttle to shopping mall convenient. Grounds are beautiful.Breakfast will please everyone.

Very convenient location. Hotel was lovely with the great breakfast. Beautiful gardens. Friendly staff. Hotel has great pools and caters for couples or families. Ocean side so great for beach relaxation too. Overall just perfect. Will visit again.

For a quuck getaway or longer family holiday, this is definitely the perfect hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting in great location close to everything. Nusa Dua feels safe and secure.

We really enjoyed our stay the staff were fantastic and the facilities were first class.

Stayed over Xmas 2014 for 7 nights. Great relaxing stay. Will definitely consider coming back. Palace Club worth the extra small cost. Gardens immaculate. Room very clean and good facilities. Staff couldn't be faulted - very friendly and helpful. Overall the best holiday hotel I have yet to stay at. Not the cheapest but worth every cent.

I cant speak highly enough of the staff they made our stay a very pleasant one and nothing was to much trouble for them and I will be back.
