Itinerary

3 Days & 2 Nights Jungle Safari

Day 1 Overnight - Elephant Hills camp: Includes Lunch & Dinner
Leaving from your chosen departure location, travel through the scenic southern Thailand to your destination - Elephant Hills camp, arriving in time for a buffet lunch offering a variety Thai dishes. Following lunch relax on the Sok River aboard a jungle river canoe trip. This area is impressive and tranquil with soaring cliffs draped in tropical foliage and limestone Mountains. Catch glimpses of the basking reptiles on the river banks and of incredible bird life swooning above. As you paddle downstream you enter some of the last remaining areas of the primary rainforest, to wonder at a world where little has changed over time.

Leaving the canoe, visit the Thailand`s, must see Elephant Sanctuary. This truly amazing experience provides you with the opportunity to see, touch, prepare a daily meal and feed the elephants. As Asia's largest land animal, learn and interact with their mahouts (elephant caretakers) all whilst gaining an insight into the conservation project.

Head back to your luxury tent to relax before enjoying the evening activities. The Jungle Explorers Club Bar serves a selection of wines, cocktails and beers (at own expense) or other optional activities include a traditional Thai dance performance by local school children, a movie presentation or a cooking demonstration. Dinner is served around 8.00 pm. As you dine in this unique location enjoy the sounds and atmosphere of the rainforest.

Day 2 Overnight - Elephant Hills camp: Includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Awaking refreshed after your first night in the rainforest, this morning is spent exploring Cheow Larn Lake aboard a local long-tail boat. This man-made lake covers an area of 60 kilometres from north to south and has over one hundred little islands. During the 1970's the region was a hide-out for students and communists against the military dictatorship, which today can be thanked for helping to preserve the unique wilderness from development. With such beautiful surrounds take the opportunity for a refreshing dip in the emerald waters of the lake before enjoying lunch. Before returning to camp stop at the local market to sample the local way of life.

Day 3: Includes Breakfast & Lunch
After a relaxing night rest, awake to the sounds of the rainforest and take time out to watch the sun rising as the mist clears over the mountain. Breakfast is available at your leisure.

The tour then makes its way into the rainforest to explore on of the world's oldest habitats. There is an amazing variety of flora and fauna on display.
