Shearwater Restaurant: Open daily for buffet breakfasts as well as a la carte lunch and dinner and themed buffet dinner a couple of nights a week. Special diets catered for by prior arrangement. A picnic hamper service is available on request.

Baillie's Bar & Pandanus Lounge: Cafe style items are available from Baillie's Bar from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The bar and lounge offers a range of cold drinks, snacks and cocktails in the entertainment lounge, mezzanine library and dance floor with panoramic reef views. This is the best place to watch the sun go down with drink in hand.

  • Heron Kids Junior Rangers Program

Heron Kids Junior Rangers & Junior Rangers Plus: Offering an exciting array of fun yet educational activities and experiences for children aged 7-12 years, the program is designed to teach children about caring for their environment. The program operates during Australian eastern seaboard school holidays. Junior Ranger operates - Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday while Junior Ranger Plus operates - Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Outside school holidays Junior Ranges runs Friday, Saturday & Sunday and requires a minimum 2 children (maximum 12) to operate.

The kids enjoy hands-on activities and have the chance to earn a colourful collection of 15 badges. They'll get 'up close and personal' with a wonderful variety of marine creatures and explore the fascinating coral cay forest and woodlands. During turtle season (November to April), they can even join the Queensland Turtle Research program's research and monitoring activities.

Fees apply of each session (approximately 1.5 hours or 4.5 hours duration) for each Junior Ranger or Junior Ranger Plus participant with fees generating funds for the Queensland Turtle Conservation Program. Fees include Junior Ranger activities, workbook and badges.

Aqua Soul Spa: Offering a relaxing and indulgent range of signature therapies, each is designed to nurture physical and emotional well being with a dynamic blend of ingredients to restore and rejuvenate.

Conference Services: Heron Island offers the only Convention Centre on the Great Barrier Reef and is well equipped to manage small conferences, training sessions and corporate meetings.
