The Everglades Explorer tour is the best way to explore Australia's only Everglades. The purpose built vessels will carry you through the gleaming waters of the upper Noosa River and the lush landscape of the Everglades, untouched for thousands of years.
The first stop is Fig Tree point where you can enjoy a short rainforest circuit walk through lush tropical rainforests. Reboard the specially designed eco vessel or grab a paddle, jump in a canoe to experience one of the best canoeing adventures in Australia (moderate fitness required - 5km).
As you wind your way through the pristine waterways, you can witness the native flora and fauna as well as some colourful bird species. Expert commentary is provided throughout the tour and the large viewing windows provide great photo opportunities along the way.
Visit Harry's Hut an historic loggers camp from the early 1900's, surrounded by a glorious natural bushland or enjoy a swim in the tea tree infused water before boarding the boat for your return to the mainland.
Return to Habitat Noosa, where you can relax and enjoy lunch at CootharaBAR & Bistro or try the unique craft beer from Australia's only artesian micro brewery (own cost).
