Travelling in an air-conditioned coach, you get to explore some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes, including Kata Tjuta and the base of Walpa Gorge and relax with a glass of wine and take in the breath taking sight of the sun setting over Uluru. Enjoy a guided tour of the base of Uluru before being escorted to the Mutijulu Waterhole, where you will see Aboriginal rock art and her about the history of the area.
Please Note: Guests arriving on QF1941 will need to collect their luggage to receive a `catch up` transfer from Ayers Rock airport to meet with the tour vehicle at either Kata Tjuta Lookout or Walpa Gorge. Passengers departing on QF1940 will not be able to participate in the Uluru Sunrise & Sacred Sites Tour. Alternatively, guests will travel on the Uluru Sunrise Tour. If time permits, guests may receive a limited base tour before returning to Ayers Rock Resort with time to transfer to the airport. Please advise flight details at time of booking.

Day 1 Uluru (Ayers Rock) Base and Sunset Tour: Join your Guide for a drive around the base of Uluru. Then travel by coach to the Mutitjulu Walk where you will be escorted to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. This waterhole provides a key source of water for the Aboriginal people in the area and has been in use for many thousands of years. See Aboriginal rock art and hear about the Aboriginal and European history of the area. Visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. It houses an amazing collection of original ceramics, paintings and punu (woodwork) that provide an insight into the unique and spiritual culture of the Anangu people, the traditional custodians of Uluru. Then travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area to witness the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying complimentary wine.
Day 2 Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunrise & Kata Tjuta (Olgas) Tour: Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre and Uluru alight. Make your way to the viewing platform to see many kilometres into the distance, providing an ideal photo opportunity. The travel to Kata Tjuta and continue to the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Ayers Rock Airport for your flight.
Departs: Daily 2.30pm (Apr–Oct) and 3.00pm (Nov–Mar) ^If your flight arrives after 1.00pm you will instead travel to Uluru for sunset viewing.
Returns: 11.00am approximately at Ayers Rock Resort
Children: 15 years and under are charged at the child rate
