Coronavirus (COVID-19) Travel Advice & Restriction Updates

UPDATE - Fiji currently has zero known community transmissions. Australia is in discussions with the governments of NZ and Fiji to establish a travel bubble in early 2021. We remain hopeful announcements on border changes and the easing of travel restrictions over the coming months. Hotels and airlines are releasing some great deals for travel in 2021 with flexible terms. If you are considering Fiji or NZ for travel in 2021, now is a good time to start researching and considering booking a deal with flexible terms.

Following Government travel advice relating to Covid-19, we are currently assisting customers who have existing international bookings departing in Oct & Nov 2020 to cancel and amend their plans.

We are dealing with high volumes of calls and emails and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to assist you. All inquiries are being prioritised in departure date order and will be dealt with as soon as humanly possible.

To amend an existing booking here's what to do:

  • Please email us at res@travelonline.com
  • Include your reference number, surname and departure date in the subject line

Our goal is to help you understand your options and amend your plans. The overwhelming majority of airlines, cruise companies and hotels are providing flexible terms and allowing customers to change dates or retain the full value of the booking as a credit to use at a later date. Please note that airlines, cruise companies and hotels are regularly updating their policies and the travel dates these policies apply. We will assist you to understand your options and get the best possible outcome given your individual circumstances.

Please rest assured that no matter when you are departing, you are very important to us and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and patience while we work through the backlog.

With over 25 years in the travel business, we've seen a number of global events that have reshaped travel. From the GFC to SARS, airline collapses, terrorism, and acts of nature - we've faced our fair share of challenges over the years. We have overcome all this and the challenges presented by COVID-19 are no different. When you're ready to book your next escape, we'll be here for you.
