Thank you and would highly recommend and Endota Spa was great also.......
Got a great deal from travel online for a heritage room at the Mantra in Lorne.
Room was spacious with a balcony and great to have fridge, toaster, kettle etc. I was even able to comfortably put my toddlers porta cot in the room as still have heaps of room. Downside was the flights of stairs to get into the room. No elevators. It was a shame that the restaurant wasn't open for lunch or diner (just breakfast) as this would have added to the atmosphere. Other facilities were all amazing and location to beach & cafes perfect, would stay again
We had a very comfy stay at Mantra Lorne. Bathroom was big and spacious, shower in the bath was a minor problem getting in/out, as a very deep bath. It was lovely and quiet of a night. The staff were extra nice and helpful. The only thing I could fault was having to climb up and down the stairs as we were on the top floor in the Heritage building. Otherwise a lovely three day stay.
This was a great deal and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Mantra Lorne. The room was a little small and strangely configured but enough. The air conditioner took up a lot of space and seemed redundant for the season. On the whole lovely staff and a perfect location to enjoy the local attractions. Thoroughly recommend.
Great location, facilities, apartment and staff.
We had a lovely time at the Mantra, Lorne. Staff were really helpful. Beach was so close. Only negative was the shower was over a deep bath and it was difficult to get in and out. Otherwise the perfect break
Great location, Mantra does not disappoint however Heritage rooms does mean old. It has been refurbished but you can see the cracked walls and age in the building. Aside from that, nice place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. I will definitely opt for the modern side. My shower was over the very large bathtub so quite the effort to get in and out of with a bad back. Pool and spa are indoors so great to use all year round. Very family friendly.
Right in the heart of Lorne
Many thanks for wonderful time
The apartment was directly on the waterfront and on the third floor with beautiful water views
quiet and comfortable especially after 2 days tentinv in the rain
lovely place to stay
Had a lovely time such a great resort and a fantastic position.
Will be returning.
Highly recommend Mantra Erskine Lorne, have just returned from a minibreak there with my kids. Hotel rooms extremely comfortable, I had one bedroom apartment, kids in adjoining Heritage room. Beds very comfortable, everything within walking distance, loved playing tennis there!! Will be back!!
Great location and facilities. Close to beach, shop and restaurants. Beautiful views from room and excellent facilities. Will definately return.
Great hotel and location, highly recommended.
Perfectly placed on Beach at Lorne with all shops next door.
Right next to the beach. Great facilities. Walk to shops. Friendly hotel staff
The property has so much to do and is in a perfect location.
You are seriously spoiled for choice when it comes to food and there is even a Craft Brewery, Jetty Road, 5 minute walk down the street.
Customer Service was amazing. We had a broken glass about 11pm one night and they sent a cleaner straight away to help us.
We would definitely go back.
Lorne is a beautiful part of the world
We were given a room with a view ( on request)which was terrific!!!
The aspect of the room was amazing (looking out to the ocean) & the box window extensions have been thoughtful & effective.
Although my studio suite was well appointed, it needs painting.
The stickers on the louvres also make it look second-rate, but the room was spotlessly clean. The bed linen (including pillows) was great.
I had recently had a total knee replacement but I was able to climb into the large spa bath to use the shower. However, it would be impossible for a person with a more permanent disability.
No doubt the hotel has already thought of this by providing other more suitable suites with better accessibility.
Pleasant 3 night stay. Nice to have apartment with sunny balcony facing park and bush land for privacy. Some apartments not so private. Minimal but adequate cooking needs. Plenty of facilities, tennis, gym etc if wanted, but we enjoyed beach, walks, local cafes.
Buildings well maintained, grounds impecable, restaurant looked very inviting. Location perfect being very central, good choice of other cafes & restaurants.
One minor point - bedroom section quite conjested with 2 quite large chairs, portable air conditioner and very large bed. Difficult for 2 people to manoeuvre around and access wardrobe.
Lorne is a great place to visit .. beautiful bush walks & beach surrounds
Mantra room was good if a little tired
Service and location of this property was exceptional, the room more than adequate. We had everything we required. Staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our stay was excellent! We are very happy to return one day and thoroughly recommend Lorne Mantra to anyone who visits the Surf Coast.
Perfect spot near the beach with an excellent array of available activities which we took advantage of during our stay. Tennis, putting green, lawn bowls and indoor pool. Room was nice but a little tired in need of minor repairs. Overall thought it was good value and a lovely location to walk in the evenings for great restaurants.
The room was very nice, no complaints, but suggestions are throw a couple of cushions on the lounge, a bit rigid without a cushion to lean on, and the tap handles couldn't be more annoying to use, apart from that was great :)
Julia on Reception was fantastic, several times.
Had a great stay overall with great location and fine view from room
Bed very comfortable and shower great.
A comfortable place to stay in a great location. Beach, plenty of places to eat and shops to browse all on the doorstep. Tennis courts, giant chess, mini-golf within the resort grounds. Happy hour and music. Every precaution and adherence to COVID restrictions was apparent. The resort is dated but our room was comfortable, and the apartments look nice. Would go back again.
We had a lovely few days at this hotel. Very centrally located, clean and well maintained, and very close to the beach. Highly recommend Mantra Lorne.
You followed Covid19 protocols to a T. Limited servicing of the room was acceptable due to Covid19 protocols.
Very enjoyable stay. Location unbeatable. We will be back. Thank You!
The Mantra at Lorne was very COVID Friendly and the staff made our check in very easy and the room was so clean when we arrived, I wish my house was that clean. Whilst the room was an older style it was so comfortable and we will definitely be back. Thanks Mantra.
Mantra Lorne staff and management have been fabuolus in proactively and creatively managing the complcations and restrictions of Vic Lockdowns due to Covid. We have stayed three times in the last year and couldn't fault the way in which they operate under these everchanging restrictions. When queues were long at check in they served a welcome glass of bubbles, when the dining restrictions meant fewer tables inside they opened an outdoor dining, when we were informed of lockdown No. three on our arrival last weekend they were calm and accomodating. Can't rate their staff high enough from Sam in room bookings to Ryan in reception and the back up they received from managment.
Our stay was pleasant, staff were friendly and helpful.
The Erskin rooms are clean and comfortable but if your looking for view and balcony upgrade.
This package was great value we would book again.
Wonderful refreshing break.
Comfortable location, one bedroom apartment was good size but a bit tired. Surrounded by nice trees and bird life. Reception service was excellent.
