Day 1: Melbourne to The Yarra Valley

The Burwood Highway will deliver you to Belgrave where you can board Puffing Billy, Australia's oldest steam railway, for a magical ride among the ferns and forest of the Dandenong Ranges National Park. Following Monbulk Road you'll pass through Lilydale before continuing on the Melba Highway to Yarra Glenn, gateway to the wine country of the Yarra Valley. With over 35 vineyards and wineries to choose from you can indulge at famous names like Yering Station, De Bortoli and Domaine Chandon.

Return to Melbourne along the Maroondah Highway via Lilydale and Mooroolbark.
