Even though there are some noticeable reminders of Cyclone Pam our 6 days at The Terraces were unaffected. The resort is lovely in its entirety and the staff are incredibly happy and obliging.
The accommodation looked as good as the advertised pics. The views from the room were breathtaking!!
Only negative would be food next door and bathroom could use better lighting.
We found the rooms excellent. Location a bit isolated but coupled with Mangoes it was great.
If you are looking to unwind without the resort-style screech of kids in the pool, this is the place. The rooms are huge and well appointed and the staff very friendly. Town is a simple hop away. Extremely tranquil.
My husband & I booked Mangoes for a second honeymoon. Callum kindly upgraded us to The Terraces his brand new 2 storey apartments that overlook 2 lagoons & have a private pool. With luxury facilities & friendly helpful staff and no little kids made it a great holiday! We walked to Port Vila most days as it was only 5-10mins away or buses drive past regularly and for $1.50 - $3 can drop you off anywhere up to 30 mins away. Food was good but having your own kitchen we cooked some meals ourselves in the new kitchen. We even had a pod coffee maker in our room to make a real coffee. I recommend booking The Terraces you wont be disappointed - Tracey
Wonderful spacious accommodation - Loved the plunge pool
This place will be a little gem. It was still being built while we were there, so for some it may have been an inconvenience, but the staff and management were just too nice to let anything bother you. The only suggestion would be to make people aware that the Terraces and Neighbouring Mangoes are the same staff and management rather than separate businesses. At first we felt a little weird going to a different resort for any queries or service. I miss the guys and girls at Mangoes restaurant already!
Our first time in Vanuatu. What a lovely place to stay even though it is not finished, can't wait to go back. (Callem need a deal ha ha!). We took our kids (18 & 22 kids?) and had a 2 bedroom units. The food at mangoes was great as were the staff, no rush no bother and very friendly. Just remember it's island time and enjoy it. Location was good only 10 minutes walk to town a good way to meet the locals, they love to stop and talk and give you lots of good advice. Kids just loved it too maybe because mum and dad were paying. Will be back.
