Quiet cabin nestled in the trees. Restaurant "On the Turps" was lovely and the food delicious. Brekky could have been better with muffins or pastries included. The staff were lovely and helpful. As our towels wouldn't dry in the damp weather they replaced them each day. DVDs had a huge selection as there is no TV or wifi. Short drive to all places of interest. Saw a cassowary and chick on the road on our first drive. We enjoyed our visit to the Discovery Centre. Kids would love this place. Plenty of walks and beaches to check out. Cafes and eateries were great at Cape Trib and we had delicious fish and chips at Thornton's Beach. Checked out the local ice-cream too!
Had a wonderful time in the Daintree.
All the staff were very friendly. If you enjoy the rain forest the location is perfect. The dining experience is made even better because you overlook a crystal clear creek. Our stay at Heritage Lodge was the highlight of our holiday.
Semi-classy establishment, in a perfect rainforest location, overlooking a pristine freshwater creek.
Nice rooms, friendly staff and decent food.
We loved our time at the lodge, Vicky is a great operator and really knows how to make your stay special
