Hakuba is situated in the Nagano Prefecture which was home to the 1998 Winter Olympics and can be accessed from Narita Airport in Tokyo via train or bus transfer services. The biggest attraction that Hakuba has to offer is skiing and snowboarding, besides this there is still plenty to enjoy including discovering the Japanese culture, history, temples, cuisine and much more.
Accommodation in Hakuba is typically more traditional style compared to other ski destinations but still offers Western style hotel rooms, chalets and apartments. This 7 night Japan ski holiday package includes 3 star accommodation with breakfast and boats great views of the Happo One ski field, free WiFi Internet, a great restaurant and bar, friendly Japanese staff who will endeavour to help with all of your needs, ski gear storage and onsite onsen. The package also includes a 5 Day Hakuba Valley Lift Pass plus a full day Snow Monkey & Zenkoji Temple tour.

After settling into your accommodation, head down into town to be fitted for your ski gear hire (extra charge) and familiarise yourself with the stunning Hakuba area. There are plenty of small restaurants and cafe's nearby to try out.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast each morning before heading out on the slopes. Choose your preferred skiing days. The 5 of 9 Day Lift Pass does not need to be used consecutively, however all days must be used within 9 days of the first day of use.
The Hakauba Valley Ticket allows unlimited movement between 10 ski resorts in the Hakuba Valley. The pass can be used at the following 10 Ski Resorts - Hakuba Goryu, Hakuba 47, Happo One, Hakuba Iwatake, Tsugaike Kogen, Hakuba Norikura, Hakuba Cortina, Jigatake, Kashimayari and Sanosaka.
Happo One is the closest ski field to your accommodation which is easily accessed by foot just 200 metres away. Other ski resorts can be accessed by a transfer, most transfers to these ski fields run on a free scheduled bus service.
Enjoy an early breakfast before joining the day full day tour. After an informative bus ride through Hakuba Valley and Nagano you will take a 20 to 30 minute hike up to the popular Jigokudani Wild Monkey Hotsprings. Make sure you bring your camera as you will be face to face with up to 300 monkeys as you watch them play, take a dip in the hotspring or search for food.
Once you've made your way back to the bus you will travel onto the historic town of Obuse where you will enjoy a traditionally cooked Japanese set lunch. Once lunch is complete you will have spare time to stroll through the streets, check out Japanese art or head to the Sake Brewery for tastings.
The final part of the day sees you heading to Nagano city for a tour of the famous Zenkoji Temple, you may have some time to pick up some small souvenirs or try traditional treats.
Depending on your departure time, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before transferring to your next destination.
