Travel by coach into the jungle to discover some of Krabi’s natural phenomena on this Jungle Hot Springs and Emerald Pool Tour. The hot springs are located 40 minutes outside Krabi and provide the perfect setting to take a refreshing dip, relax and unwind. Known for their therapeutic qualities, the hot springs are a series of rock pools heated to 40 degrees celsius by the thermal springs. Feeling relaxed, make a short journey to the Emerald Pool to cool down. Aptly named due to the colour, the Emerald Pool is nestled amongst the deep rich green foliage of the jungle and in season pleasantly scented by the local exotic flowers. Lunch is provided enroute to the Emerald Pool.
The afternoon is spent discovering the Tiger Cave. Whilst there are many stories to the origin of the caves name – some say it was the home to the last living tiger in Krabi others say it is due to the rocky outcrop in the shape of a tigers paw, the cave and surrounds are impressive. Take time out to climb the steps to the temple and large Buddha adorning the peak. The views are spectacular and worth the 1237 stair climb.
